"We are more than pleased with the job Steve did on our hardwood floors. He came to our rescue after the contractor we hired to install new flooring completely botched the finishing due to a complete lack of communication. Steve was the only person I could find that uses penetrating oil as a finish instead of polyurethane and the result is phenomenal! Steve not only fixed the terrible job the previous contractor did on our new flooring but he also color matched our existing flooring to the new floor just perfectly. He also redid our step down into the family room after the first guy totally ruined it and flawlessly patched the hole where a 1950s floor furnace once was. Steve was very professional and understood exactly how we wanted our floors to look when others had no clue. "My refrigerator leaked and damaged the sub-floor. I was advised through my home insurance to hire a contractor on my own so Jocelyn was one of 3 contractors I interviewed. I went with my gut feeling, we just communicated and she listened to me and told me every step that I would have to go through before the actual laying of new flooring. She recommended I get a person to confirm no mold issue was there, she helped me by coordinating this first step. Then the second step was the replacement of the sub-floor and reconstruct the cabinets (they got wet too) then the new floors were installed. I am so happy with the results and I recommend her services if you are looking for new flooring."
