"Very professional. Easy to contact and they answered all my questions. They always on time and punctual, if they were going to be late they notified me. They were here when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof, to answer his questions."

Home Building, Additions, Major Renovations
"My partner and I were first time home buyers and wanted to build a new home. We didnâ  t want a production builder, as we know they cut corners because they have to build so many homes a year to make a profit. Because of this we decided to build a custom home. After a bit of research, we chose to build with Custom Homes. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. We were on a budget, and they helped guide us on selections that what would work within our budget or close to it. We couldnâ  t afford an expensive interior designer, so they had their selection coordinator help with selections at no extra cost. We ended up with not just a house, but a beautiful home that our family has been able to grow into. If we ever plan to build another home, we will for sure build with them and recommend you do so as well"

Additions and Remodels
"I was very impressed with the vision and workmanship of my contractor. He is hands on at every stage. My home is under construction; yet, it does not appear as such. . . the only evidence is the roll-off in the driveway. I would recommend "Comfort Homes" to anyone who is in need of a fair, honest and talented contractor."

"We have used Rick on multiple projects for our home. Our most recent project was replacing several French doors that required interior finish work and exterior stucco and brick work . We would absolutely recommend him , given his quality of workmanship and personal integrity. And we plan on utilizing his expertise in a project in the very near future."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
