"I found this Business on Angiâ s List, and I highly recommend them! I had fencing that needed to be installed to connect my fence to my driveway gate as well as a drainpipe reconnected to my house. The fence is sturdy and attractive, and the drainpipe is back in place. I am very pleased with their work! They got in touch with me right away and came out that day. I will definitely call on them again when I have projects to be done! Thank you!"

"Dear Home Advisor, I am excited to give a review for the Company of JETGEN METAL -WORK LLC. My husband and I had a project that we needed done for our home. We were checking into finding someone who could build us a side railing so we could be safe taking the steps to the bottom of our basement door. Now in the days we live in currently, there are a lot of people and companies that promise all these great results, and then either not follow through, or they have no expertise and experience, in the jobs they tell you they have done for many years and people. Well to say that we were pleasantly surprised doesnâ t even cut it. Alyx & Genieva Jette are the real deal. These owners and operators are a very well established and reputable team of metal workers, but more that that they are artists. I was blown away at the care and attention to detail that this couple uses in their business. The other aspect is that they are so professional and they take pride in what they do and accomplish for your project. This couple is a total manifestation of artistic talent for any kind of metal working project. It is very rare to find real artists in many of the fields of metal fabrication, welding, and specialty projects. Communication, is vital, when you have anyone working on your home, regardless of the type of project. These two keep totally in touch, they are always on time, if running late, which they never did, they let you know, and donâ t leave you in the dark. They are so great at the education and understanding, of what it takes to prepare, execute, and finish your project. They truly care that you understand what is happening each day and how it fits into the final result and project. The other outstanding characteristic of their work is that they are possessing many aspects of solutions, examples, and innovative ideas to make your project individualized and not look like a carbon copy of some inefficient rip-off home improvement company. We were given examples, paint examples, detailed description of what was taking place each day. THE FINAL Result!!!!! Woo hoo! I now have one of the most exquisite and beautifully created railings for my home. It is silver in color and actually looks like chrome, which is my favorite choice for anything that can be out of chrome! Our home is light silver in color and this railing compliments and creates an amazing demonstration of class and safety, which is not easy to fabricate, but they did it!! Customer satisfaction is this teamâ s fabric that runs throughout their company. I look forward to many years with my professional railing complimenting my home and keeping us safe! Sincerely, Mrs. Deborah Hunt"

"NW Builders & Renovation did my roof last summer. Ben Was very professional. He arrived on time explained the process slowly and answered all the questions we had. We didn t want the little shed in the back to be done but they offered to do it for the same price. We also had couple more estimates and the price was more then fare. We will definitely use them again!"

Frequently asked questions

  • Budget: Your budget is central in influencing which fence you buy. Figure out your spending limit and determine your budget per linear foot, as fencing costs can quickly add up.
  • Durability: Consider strength, lifespan, resistance to pests, rot and fungus, rust, and the material’s ability to withstand local weather conditions.
  • Maintenance: Maintenance, cleaning and repairs should be simple and minimal.
  • Purpose: The style of fence you choose should be suitable for its intended purpose.
  • Installation: Find out what installation requirements, such as foundations or supports, are necessary. Research if DIY is possible or if professional installation is your only option.

  • Wood fence styles range from traditional to contemporary and from purely functional to attractive and decorative.
  • Lattice fences are affordable and decorative. You can use them as privacy fences by growing dense foliage over them.
  • Vertical board fences are the most common type of residential fence. There are budget-friendly options available as well as higher-end panels. Vertical board fences are affordable choices for basic privacy and security fences.
  • Picket fences conjure up cozy images of traditional properties with carefully tended lawns. They’re good for demarcating a property boundary but don’t provide much security.
  • Post-and-rail fences are a solid choice for making a boundary over a large area, as material use is minimal. However, they don’t provide any security or privacy.
  • Metal fences are generally stronger and more secure than other materials. You can choose from highly ornate and secure metalwork or simple but functional wire. For the higher-end options, which are often costly, homeowners often reduce costs per square foot by combining the metal with brick.
  • Aluminum fencing is an attractive, more affordable alternative to wrought iron. Although it has a similar appearance, it’s not as strong as wrought iron.
  • Steel fencing is a strong, long-lasting fencing option that’s good for creating a secure barrier around your home.
  • Vinyl fencing made from PVC comes in a range of styles, including those that mimic real wood.
  • Composite fencing is an amalgamation of wood fibers, pulp or sawdust and ground plastic particles that are bonded and held together by an acrylic resin. It looks and feels like real wood and is an environmentally friendly choice, as it usually contains a high percentage of recycled materials.
  • Wire fences are not made to enhance the aesthetics of your property, although some homeowners opt for black fencing to help boost aesthetics. They are inexpensive, purely functional products suitable for DIY or professional installation.
  • Barbed wire fencing isn’t common in residential settings. While it’s an inexpensive, fierce and intimidating security deterrent, it isn’t attractive and will not add value to your home.
