Courteous and on time
I was quoted $105 for them to mow and weed eat my lawn. My TOTAL property is 2.5 acres, but woods, pond, buildings and the home take up at least half of that. They sent 4 guys. 2 guys mowed 1/4 of the back lawn. 2 guys stood around. They texted me and said that it would be another $150 to mow and trim the lawn. They said that my lawn was over 3.5 acres. Either they are wrong, or my surveyor is wrong. Hint: the surveyor is not wrong. We had a heated text exchange where the owner of Sims called me a racist for saying that it was mowed last for $65 by a white kid. Then he said it would be an additional $100 for them to come out. I ended up paying $150 because I was being accused of being unfair and racist. They never came back. So, I paid $255 for something that I could have done myself in 30 minutes. I will NEVER recommend Sims Landscape Maintenance.
I totally disagree with the review comments by Mr. Brock which are not true. Mr Brock was not at his property when the lawncare work was done, but his wife was there instead. When my team leader with the work crew arrived on the job he noticed that the 2.5 acres mentioned by Mr. Brock was twice the size more like 4.5 acres. My workers were not standing around, but waiting to get instruction by me on what to do by phone. When they called me, I told them to talk with Mrs. Brock on what areas should be mowed. She told them what areas to mow. After the work was completed. I got a text from Mr. Brock and he said what was mowed was not in scope of his property. I told Mr. Brock my crew cut what Mrs. Brock told them. I told him that the charge was going to be more money due to the increase in size of his property. Mr. Brock got insulting and compared my workers to the work of a 17 year old white kid who he said did better work. I asked him why are you making a racial comment. I never said he was a racist. We did get into an exchange by text message and he decided to pay the extra charge. I refused to return to do any further work on his property after his comments. The work I completed was already done. I have always been a professional with my customers, look at my reviews and check reviews on my website:http://www.simslandscapemaintenance.com. I have been in business in the DFW area for 29 years and have a good reputation. Regards, Philip Sims, Sims Landscape Maintenance Company
They worked hard and did a great job. I appreciate their work. Very polite and professional. The estimate for the job was less than I expected. For my budget it fit right in. They will have a steady customer from now on. I highly recommend. ð
Very timely and lots a of communication
Great rates and superb service. I would recommend again!
Good job
The landscaping company has not provided the services I paid for.
The lawn pros that you refer customers to never respond to messages. I don?t believe they respect Angi?s business. Why advertise, if there is no follow up?
They got right to my lawn. Mowed it for a fair price.
