Mint construction was very thorough. They pointed outside brick, waterproof, waterproof the inside walls. Re-cement of the walls then added dry lock and finish paint over that. In addition they did the floors so that it would look like a complete project. They were extremely focused, and most importantly, for me as they cleaned up after themselves, I am very impressed! Mr. Sean Smith was engaging and knowledgeable about the products. He was using recommended other products that were better and more long lasting so to me he was extremely knowledgeable. His Sherwin-Williams painting representative even came out to see how nice the project turned out , just as a courtesy to him. I will definitely be using him for other projects!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! I bought a Larson Platinum storm door from Lowes and tried to install it myself, but found that the woodwork around my old storm door was curved and the new door required a flat surface and I was worried there was more water damage than I could see. There was also caulking that was old and cracking. Sean answered our call and asked for photos of the the doorway & issues. He was able to come down and removed the curved wood & caulking, (luckily I didn't need the whole frame replaced), put new planks up, re-caulked it and installed the new door within 3 hours. And the cost was just a little more than half of what I paid for the door itself. Completely worth it and the installation looks so clean! Sean was very nice and courteous, very knowledgable about the door & installing it. But after he loaded his van back up and was getting ready to leave, a recycling/trash picker stopped by the neighbor's house and the old guy attempted to lift a washer or something into the bed of his pickup truck. Sean could've driven off to get to his next job, but instead he helped the guy out and put it in his truck for him. He didn't have to, but he did. I know that picker really appreciated this helping hand. And that's why I'd give Sean & Mint Contracting 6 stars if I could!

I hired Mint Contracting to paint the walls, ceiling and trim of the entire house and install 4 doors. Sean was responsive with a very competitive quote and they did an excellent job, paying attention to detail and going above and beyond (some of the doorframes were very un-level/square). The team showed up on time, were respectful, and cleaned up each day. They started and finished the job on schedule and on budget. I will definitely work with them again, as they do painting and carpentry, including doors and window installation. Highly recommend!
