I called fixit guy to receive a quote for repair of my washer dryer. They sent a technician, who ended up charging me $150 dollars and never followed up to do the repairs or order parts, even though I attempted to contact them several times. Seems really bad for business in the long run to be charging diagnostic fees and then not following up to do the work. Don't use this company unless you want to be charged a steep diagnostic fee and then end up having to call someone else to get the job done.
The company scheduled the repair within a day of calling. I was given a four hour window. The technician showed within that window and was able to diagnose and repair the issue within 15-20 minutes. He gave me tips on how to maintain the appliance. The Service call cost was more than competitive (half of their closest competitor). I highly recommend this local business!
I own an Italian Ilve oven, an unusual brand in the Northeast. Apparently the importer of this brand had changed and the place I bought it no longer offered repair. They finally gave me a number to call at the new distributor to find repair service. After 9 months with no working oven, I found the solution with Fix It Guy! They identified the model and necessary part, ordered it, and made the repair within a week and a half. What a relief. I highly recommend them.
punctual, got the job quickly and efficiently with a friendly staff. The first appointment was a no-show and their office didn't have a record of it. But, to their credit, when I called to rebook, the staff was friendly and apologetic.
3 no call no show, 1 no show with call hours later, 5 messages with no call back. Credit card was on file so I could not call anyone else without fear of being over-charded. I had my card compromised so I got new on and it took 3 weeks for someone in the office to call looking for payment. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
