Write a ReviewWe hired AR-TEX AC and Heating, June of 2022, to get my a/c working. After 4 unsuccessful trips out to our place, my neighbor and I took video of condenser fan failing to start and sent it to AR-TEX AC and heating. They were then able to get the a/c working by replacing the condenser fan and capacitor. One of the prior things they did was replaced my **thermostat**. This month, October 2022, when the temperature dropped, we tried to use the heater. It did not work because it was not wired correctly for heat. Called AR-TEX A/C and Heating and they refused to come back, say it has been more than 30 days since the repair **according to their policy, they are not responsible after 30 days** Even if they screwed it up. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK.
We hired AR-TX A/C and Heating to diagnose what was wrong with our system since the a/c was not turning on. After 2 separate visits trying to figure out what was wrong we were told it was the wiring and they will replace it for $550. We got a second opinion and found out the contactor was bad, so we replaced it for $18 and our a/c is working now. The wiring was fine. Do not hire this company! Either they do not know what they are doing or they were trying to rip us off.
It's good to have knowledge about hvac this way you have an idea what should be done. Remember your atic ladder max is 250 lbs.

The tech was uniformed and very professional. Oscar found the problem with my freezer and fixed it in a timely manner. I was so impressed, I purchased the gold service contract on the spot. I hope this is one contract I will not need but if I do I feel I am in good hands.
He arrived promptly, identified the problem immediately, left to buy the broken part, returned with it, and installed it all within about an hour. He only charged me for the service call and the small charge for the new part. I was very pleased!
He showed up when requested, and worked quickly to repair the item. He had to get a part and came back with it in a day, unfortunately this did not fix the problem. The compressor turned out to be bad, and we found out that it still had one month of coverage under warranty, which he was not authorized to perform.
