Steve came to our house and did a bathroom remodel. His plumbing work was described at atrocious by those who fixed his mistakes. Water was collecting under the shower which eventually fell into through the ceilings and walls to the basement. We believe mistakes happen and gave Steve the opportunity to fix the shoddy work but he took no personal responsibility. He was relying on our refusal to take him to court. Do NOT hire this business. If they destroy your house, they wonâ t fix it. Low skill and dishonesty is a bad combination in a remodeling company.. Save your house and hire someone else.

This project was completed in 2019. Approximately 5 months after the completion, I was contacted by the homeowner of an issue with a plumbing leak. I asked to talk to the plumber the homeowner hired, to verify where it was coming from. I called the plumbing company multiple times and never got a response back. I had the homeowner call the plumbing company to have them call me and let me know what the issue was caused by. No response. I cannot go to my insurance company with a claim without some idea of how a leak came about 5 months after use. I have been in business for 30 years and have never left a customer high and dry. In my 30 + years of doing contracting, I do know that some businesses come in and will state some things to make more money. Just saying, the lack of calling me back, is a big deal and very unprofessional. This is damaging to both the homeowner and the contractor.

Steve and his assistants did exactly what I asked them to do. The work was professionally done and looks great. They were thorough and professional but still very personable. Even though the work took twice as long as originally projected, he did the job for the amount agreed to initially. Steve removed the old tiled shower, installed cement board and installed a shower liner I picked out, and replaced the door. I am very pleased with the work Wemhoff Tile and Remodeling did for me.
