USA Insulation of Utah

Working with USA Insulation has been a positive experience starting with the sales call clear through to the installation. It has only been a few days since installation but we have already noticed our furnace cycling less frequently, our house feels warmer although the programmable thermostat has not been changed, and an added surprise we did not anticipate was how much quieter it is in our house. With all these benefits along with the available energy rebates and federal tax credit this will be a great investment in the quality of our home life and a tool to fight the ever increasing costs of inflation on our energy bills.

I’ll be upfront. The experience was not great. But I am giving them 4 stars for coming back multiple times to make it right. In the end it still was not right, but they tried real hard. The hole patching was pretty bad. My wife went out afterward and started fixing it when they left. Looked like they Just globbed on grout and smeared it everywhere. I reminded her she just paid $10k for this, so let them fix it. It still didn’t look great after they were done the last time but it was better. Also, there is still foam splattered all over the stuff I have stored in the attic. Mistakes happen. The very best part about it is that I can tell a difference. It’s not a huge difference. My heating and cooling bills haven’t changed noticeably. But there was a cold draft in the winter that is gone. I’m sure it was from the gaps they found and sealed. I was shocked when they showed me how bad the gaps were. If I could go back in time, all things considered, I would pay them to come out again. Just wish their guys were a little more competent.

I found USA Insulation of Utah at the Home Show in January. Cameron was answering questions at their booth, and took my name and phone number for Nate the co-owner to call me . Nate was at my house a few days later to appraise the work I needed done. His crew Gio, Juan and a few others were there a few days later to get the job done very promptly and efficiently. I'm very pleased with the work they did, plus Nate was very helpful instructing me on what his crew would be doing. They insulated with closed cell spray foam and batten insulation under my 2 crawl spaces. I highly recommend USA of Utah and LNL insulation.

I had the foam insulation installed to my exterior walls. My house was built when they didn’t add insulation to these walls. I’ve noticed a difference in how frequently my furnace isn’t running. My install was on 1/2/25 and it’s basically cut my furnace runtime in half. The price I paid and the benefits already seem to be paying for themselves. If I remember to update this in the summer for my a/c usage I will add additional photos, but the heating alone is proof this works. Gio and his team were great, really professional and answered all my questions.

We went to the recent homes show in Sandy Utah, I was looking for insulation services as our home was built in 1986 and it seemed to not maintain heat / cool throughout the year. I knew the insulation was where I wanted to because we had replaced all the original windows and glass doors with double and triple pane vinyl replacements. Chris was fantastic he came the following week and explained USA insulations product and how it could benefit our situation in addition to the attic blow in insulation we discussed the in wall foam that would help even more. In the end I decided right then and there to do both services, and we schedule quickly and. the install crew was out the following week. The install went very smoothly, and they explained the work they would be doing and how long it would take, I was shocked that they finished both pieces of the service by the end of the day. The only challenge we had is that one of the light switches quit working after the install was completed, the very next day I got a call from an electrician to come out and repair the switch, which was promptly done! The first or second night after the install the outside temperature was in the low 20's at night and I noticed that the thermostat said 74 degrees when we went to bed after 10pm at night, the next morning the temperature showed 73 degrees! I allow my thermostat to drop to the low 60's at night but since the service I rarely see the temperature drop more than 2 or 3 degrees where it used to drop 10 ~ 15 causing the furnace to run at least a little bit at night. I am thoroughly impressed by the work, service and product that USA Insulation has provided me. Thank you Chris and Ryan, I have already referred you to a friend and he had the service done as well I am assuming that he will love it as much as me.
