    Arrived late due to traffic which is acceptable. Very slow and poor packing of the truck. No advance warning that everything may not fit into their truck. Popped in the door and said time to go since truck was supposedly full. Wouldn't consider repacking or allowing me to view the truck. Customer service only response was they would return to finish the job after unloading, of course, with an additional cost. They confirmed all my fears about the moving industry, they load up your belongings and have you backed into a corner and what recourse do you have with someone holding all of your items.

    Until recently my dealings with Trucks on Call was subject to a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That complaint was unresolved. I would not recommend Trucks on Call to any Service Magic users. They arrived on the job late, with only one out of the four movers who truned up qualifying as truly professional. The other three other were tired and slow - one was so large and unfit that he spent most of the time seated on the floor. The job took twice as long as promised, and the van used was undersized. As a result, I had to hire another rental truck to finish the job.

    They showed up on time, the movers were courteous and professional. The whole project took about half as long as estimated. Be warned though, the main office tried to change the price in the middle of the move, after a referred to the contract they relented, I understand this is common among movers though

    I had to leave for my settlement before the crew was finished loading the trucks. They left behind an awful lot of stuff, leaving a *lot* of extra trips for me to make afterwards. However, the movers were pleasant and courteous and very careful with the things they did move. Nathan and Amy were honest and straightforward and kept their agreements. Overall they were not cheap, but did what they said they would do for the agreed upon price.

    I had them pack up the items the day prior to my move. Excellent. Every piece of glass was wrapped and boxed very securely and every piece of furniture was either shrink-wrapped (upholstered pieces) or blanked (wood/easily damaged pieces). I couldn't have been more pleased. One of the gentlemen was a bit slow, but the others made up for him. The needed to make two trips, so the estimate for the truck size was off, but it was a short move and they didn't complain at all about the second trip. It was getting late and I ended up packing some of the items the following day to finish up. All-in-all, I was extremely pleased and felt I got more than my money's worth.

    7. Legal Search for Civil Judgments
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
    8. Liens Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
    10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
      We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
