I hired Building Performance Solutions (BPS) for mold testing on a home I was purchasing in Siesta Key, and it turned out to be a costly mistake. Despite paying for a professional inspection, they failed to detect toxic mold in multiple areas of the house during my inspection window. This oversight ended up costing me tens of thousands of dollars in remediation and repairs. Beyond that, their communication was poor delayed responses, difficult to reach, and overall unprofessional. Even after I brought the issue to their attention, they refused to take responsibility and would not even refund the cost of their failed inspection. A company that does not own its mistakes and lacks integrity should not be trusted with something as serious as mold testing. If you are considering hiring them, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

After finding out other rates for the job they performed at my house, they are quite expensive, their rates are inflated, knowing they are doing the same work than other ducts cleaning companies in town. Some in their young staff have condescending comments when working, which I found, not only being unprofessional/rude but also to be offending when in return I handed out a check to them. I definitely won;t ever call them back in the future.

Hello Lydia, I am sorry you feel that you had such a bad experience with our company. I do remember you calling the office to notify us that you did not like a comment that one of technicians made upon arrival at your home. And based on that comment you had doubts as to whether or not the work would be performed properly. Once made aware of your concerns the VP came to your home personally within the hour. Once at you home the technician was asked what he said that offended you so bad. He stated, that the attic was tight and that it was going to be a tough job. Not only did we perform a duct cleaning but we added duct work to your HVAC system
