Do not hire this company. The fence is very loose, with cheap materials that are failing. Lack of communication. I started the issues I had with it from the get-go and was given excuse after excuse. It is now been just a little over a year and this fence is junk. Writing this review today because I was just outside looking at it getting very angry about the whole experience and the quality of work.

Their work is dangerous and failed after only one year. I saw all the deficiencies immediately and notified the company. I now have a pending lawsuit. They did not get a building permit and the structural engineer I hired found multiple problems.

I hired Fence Lads to put in a chain-link fence for me. It was two weeks past their start date when they finally put it in. Upon completion, I noticed they tried to touch up my fence with spray paint and painted my house. Also noticed that several posts were loose. I have contacted Daniel and he said that he would send someone out next week, but that was over a month ago and no one has come out. To date, I have repaired 13 out of 40 posts myself because of a lack of concrete that should have been used to stabilize each post. I also have 3 gates but can only use 2 now. The 10 foot gate they installed is no longer aligned properly and will not open and close, so if you happen to read this, whatever you do, please do not hire this company.

Do not use this people... They trimmed the top of my fence, the one I am paying for, to avoid cutting a tree branch without even asking. Then refused to fix it when I asked them to. I had to cut the branch myself then ask them to replace the park of the fence they trimmed, because i refused to pay otherwise. Also, they got me in trouble with the city and left me alone to deal with it. I was told not to worry about city permits, that they will take care of it. They never did and the put a fence taller than the city allowed, even though they have my city listed on their website. Still dealing the with it. I might even need to pay someone else to lower the fence if i lose the appeal. They have never responded to me. Sent emails and left messages on the phone.

Affordable and great looking fence + gate. Easy to work with, very timely, and quality work. Fence install was over 3 days, but that was only because it rained in late afternoon on the second day. But the group worked up until that first raindrop. Much appreciated and great work.

Quality work for a fair price.

I would highly recommend Daniel and the Fence Lads for quality of work and being very competitive on price.

Where to start? Tried to install my requested horizontal cedar fence diagonally to save them time and money. Split 17 boards by not pre-drilling at the ends of boards. I made them replace them. The wood they use is the same stuff you get at very famous home appliance stores, it is nothing special. All three of my gates do not close correctly and the 2x4 supports are all split due to again driving the bolts without pre-drilling. Used cheap gate hardware. I finally had to remove the gate latches to get my gates to close. Left dirt and debris in my neighbors driveway and sidewalk that I had to clean up. Tried to up charge for additional difficult digging without consulting with me. As reported by others, they also attempted to hard press me to pay them cash, which I refused to do. They were supposed to return to fix issues in early July. Never heard from them again, and I am fine with them not coming back. If you are picky about how your stuff looks and your money I definitely DO NOT recommend this company. I have pictures to back up all my claims. Others have apparently had good experiences with them, (whether this is due to low expectations or a general lack of knowledge, I do not know) but I certainly did not.

They were very timely. Came well prepared to work. Awesome customer service skills. Installed my fence in 2 days. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend them to others. I would definitely prefer their business for future jobs in my home.. AWESOME COMPANY!
