They came out and looked at both the crawl space and the attic. They offered a fair price with financing and then completed the jobs quicker than expected.
Response by The Drying Company, LLC: Samantha, Thank you for sharing your experience with our team. We are happy to hear everything went well with your attic and crawl space projects. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Thanks again.

This is a copy of my email sent to them 3 weeks ago and I have not heard back from them: I wanted to share my feedback from my experience with The Drying Company. 1/ KNOWING YOUR PRODUCT The salesman assured me that they would be able to spray foam on existing insulation (Ceiling + Wall) because they have the best foam. When I asked him a second time, after another company told me that it would not work, he reassured me that it will work. So I signed with them. And when your technicians came on site, it did not work. BUMMER 2/ RECHARGING A LIFT = BEING EFFICIENT I provided a scissor lift for the technicians. And after working the whole day, they did not plug the lift in to recharge overnight. So when they arrived around 8 am on Friday they could not work. 3/ CLEANING = DOING A NEAT JOB After the work was completed: The trash can was left full inside the warehouse. (See picture attached). The plastic protection was rolled up and dropped outside the warehouse alongside the dumpster (See picture attached). I have drops of spray foam on the drywall which was painted the week before they started the work and a BIG CHUNK above the restroom. (See picture attached). I am sorry but this is not acceptable. For a $35,000 job, I expected more professionalism. Even from the first day, when we had to unload your products from the truck, things were not as expected. I will not be recommending The Drying Company.
Response by The Drying Company, LLC: Thank you for your comments. I am sorry I had to find out about your dissatisfaction this way. I take great pride in the work we do and the many customers we have helped. I am truly sorry for my office not communicating with you as we should have. There is no excuse I can offer. I would like to give you my findings from interviewing my team and share pictures of the work. Your first concern is about *knowing your product*?. Our representative Matt told you we could spray on the vinyl faced ceiling insulation and it was discovered that we could not. I believe Matt had very good intentions and was honest with the information he had. Spray foam will pretty much stick to anything. Unfortunately, what he did not take into account was that the insulation was excessively dusty from the shop being a cabinet shop. I think Kevin, our production manager saved an even larger problem had it been sprayed. By instructing our crew to do a test area, he discovered that it would not adhere and if it had been done, sections or all of it would have fallen. This material really should be removed for this portion of your shop to be completed. Of course, we did not invoice for this portion of the project. Your second concern is about the lift. A lift was proposed in our proposal and Miss O?Brien opted for us to use the lift on-site to save money on our proposal. This was a week-long job and they neglected to plug in in one night. This was an oversight due to a long hard day the day before. Still, they should have made sure it was plugged in and this should not have happened. Due to their oversite, they worked late that day. They also had to wait for metalworkers to complete their work before they could work. So as it turns out, this did not cost than lost time. Your third concern is about cleaning. I?ve attached pictures of all the plastic they laid out to make sure they protected walls and floors from overspray. They also sealed over the skylights with plastic. I know the crew did everything they could to make sure it was clean. Where it looks like they failed is the large bagged up plastic fell out of the job site dumpster. They said they threw it on top, but the dumpster was pretty full and it must have fallen out or blown out. They also admitted to using what appeared to be a job site trash can full of other debris such as wood and metal. After sweeping up the foam particles, they threw it in the trash can. The large chunk of foam they left over the bathroom should not have been missed and left behind. They were reaching to spray over that bathroom and they should have taken a rake or something to reach and pull it off. You also made mention how the job got started and felt this was a sign of not knowing what we were doing. This job was a large warehouse that was involved with a fire and the reinsulating of the ceiling in the sections involved in that fire required approximately 14, 55-gallon drums of spray foam chemicals. Our production manager made arrangements with Miss. O?Brien to have delivered directly to the job. O?Brien offered to have it unloaded for us by someone on-site with a forklift. I truly am sorry that we upset you in not being able to complete the additional room with the vinyl faced insulation and for the other concerns mentioned above, but the work was completed as specified and as the pictures show, was in good quality. I feel our biggest failure was not responding back to your concerns when you emailed us. This is not how we normally operate. We have spoken with everyone who was involved in your project including the production manager and scheduling manager. If it is not too late, I invite you to contact me to discuss this further.

I am pleased with their service. They were punctual, they had an opening and moved my install date to earlier. They were even willing to adjust their installation hours around my schedule. I am pleased with this company and would hire them again. Looking forward to the savings on my energy bills.
