Reviews
Write a ReviewI needed a handyman to repair/aligned an reinstall a couple of bathroom doors as well as a pantry bifold door and Dale at Stinks-N-Stones came to the rescue. Overall Dale did a awesome job on this project and I strongly recommend hiring him for multiple jobs you may have around the house. He is very knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy in his craft.
Dale did a professional project and was easy to communicate with.
We are so glad we hired Dale. The work was impeccable. He s honest and considerate (everything was kept neat and tidy during the week he did the work). He redid our powder room floor, drywall, redid our fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash, installed under cabinet lighting in the kitchen and painted our door and shutters. Quality work and open communication.
Dale did a GREAT JOB! He removed my old vinyl, soffits and replaced them with a style that has better ventilation. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Always on time and hard working. Did several things and never charged me for them. Looking forward to working with him again!
I bought a nice shallow-but-big (39" X 39" X 13") upper kitchen cabinet at Ballard Reuse for $30, but it was too heavy for my husband and me to hang without help -- plus we weren't sure how to do it so that it would (a) look good and (b) not come crashing down on a kid or a cat. We fix our own appliances and do our own home repairs all the time, but this project made us nervous. There was a trim piece at the top of the cabinet, plus molding at the top of the wall the cabinet was to go on, and we just didn't have the tools or the know-how to figure out how to mesh the two in an attractive way. I put the project into Home Advisor, but the top two matched pros were not good matches (a guy way down in Kent, plus Sears Kitchen Installation??). Sticks-N-Stones of Lynnwood was listed under additional matches and was the only one located anywhere near our Shoreline home. We hoped Sticks-N-Stones could squeeze our rinky-dink job in amongst others in the area, while still coming at a time when my husband would be around to help lift the cabinet into place. I contacted Dale by email late afternoon on Friday, and he was here Sunday morning(!), after doing other jobs in the area. He was clean cut, personable, and prompt. He discussed with us what we wanted, told us the course of action necessary, and was done within minutes -- at an amazing price! The cabinet looks better than I ever dreamed. It's flush with the ceiling and actually looks like a built-in. It's perfectly level and butts up perfectly next to the molding that he cut to fit. A mammoth project for us was so darned easy for him. After Dale left, my husband and I felt a huge weight off our shoulders. And we have some great new kitchen storage! We'll definitely use Sticks-N-Stones again.
Dale did an amazing job with re-carpeting my patio. His all around services was wonderful. Price was right as well. He was on time each visit and after finishing the initial project, he took on another project that needed fixing. I live in a large condo complex and you can be sure I will refer him to everyone! A very talented young man. He is on my speed dial for sure!!
Did an amazing job. Explained everything in detail and took charge making my job very EZ. Now I know what a general contractor does! (Also did a lot of small things and never charges me. WOW.) FYI- House sold in two day more then the asking over!
He responded to our initial contact quickly. When we met, we discussed our needs, and he designed to project to fit our needs. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and he has done a fantastic job. He updated 2 bathrooms for us, and they are beautiful.
Very good worker! I would hire him again in a minute. He was on-time, answered all my questions and cleaned up after he was done.
