Steven Foster is an exceptional architect. I hired him for a massive fixer upper project and he was stellar to work with. His designs were creative, innovative and made great use of the space. He is very intuitive and even when I did not know what I wanted, he did! I also hired him to assist me in being the project manager of my renovation and that worked out exceptionally well also. He helped hold the workers accountable as he knew so much more about how the work should have been done than I did. Steve shared resources and contacts which were quite valuable. He is very pleasant, professional and fun to work with. He also is focused on maximizing the value of the home and I was able to sell my totally renovated home in 5 years for a sizable profit. Steven Foster Designs did an outstanding job for our total renovation project with creative ideas and solutions at a reasonable cost. The project consisted of renovating and adding a master bedroom and home theater to a 1952 mid-century house. The challenge was to keep the original cachet and character of the house, a mid-century gem, while bringing it into the 21st century. the fusion of the old and new was achieved by keeping the essence of what made mid-century architecture great: play with light, indoor-outdoor connection, use of space that makes the house homey despite its consequent size. Steve was instrumental in finding creative solutions to the litany of problems that pepper a construction project while keeping a pleasant and patient demeanor.
