BUYER BEWARE. I have used this company several times now, even recommending them to my friends and family. I even became a member of their monthly subscription. When my compressor went out, they came right away to assess the situation. When they have the opportunity to make a sale, they are more than responsive. They had us pay $3500 upfront for the repair/ replacement and told us they would be out very soon to fix it. They kept giving excuses as to why they could not come back or find the part. They then stopped responding. This went on for over 10 days. Finally, they claimed they ordered the part but it was lost. We found another HVAC company to come back and within 5 hours he was able to locate and pick up the part and install it for less than stay cool had charged us. We asked Stay Cool for a refund which after 2 days they agreed to. This was in August, and over two months later we have yet to see a penny back. We call and call, but the outsourced call center is useless, they refuse to transfer us to the billing department or return our calls. All of our contacts at the company no longer pick up the phone. But if you call for an estimate, you get a call back right away. If your Air goes out and you pay upfront, here is what you can expect: 1)You can expect to sit in the FL August heat without Air for over two weeks. 2) You can expect them to stop returning your calls. 3) you can expect to only be able to get ahold of the outsourced call center 4) You can be assured they are handling it 5) You can be assured that you will not see a penny of your money back What they can expect from me is to hear from an attorney as I am left with no choice but to file suit.

Took a day longer to do the job due to the first unit was too large for space of the broken one, The installers were very nice and returned the first unit and returned on a Sunday and installed the new one and explained how the thermostat was to be used.

The one thing I disliked about the company is they push there VIP program on you for $9.95/monthly fee and there $19.95 maintenance fee did not cover what I was told over the phone. So you are in a situation where you have to join there VIP program just to safe money on that first visit.

Installed a new more efficient heat pump and air handler. My electric bill is noticibly lower. My only complaint is that the new system is noisier than the old one. Stay Cool did not return my calls about the air noise. I found some suggestions on the internet and was able to get the noise down to an acceptable level by myself.
