Talked the talk but did not walk the walk. Rarely showed up to direct inexperienced crew, did not know current code on fasteners, and hard to get him to come back to fix problems. Now he says he is out of business. Wherever he is, avoid at all costs.

Got three quotes to install a concrete pad and a walkway in February. Chose this company because it was slightly less expensive and was provided a photoshopped image of finished work and I liked what I saw. Initially, everything went well with prepping the area and getting ready to pour the concrete. After installation, I noticed multiple flaws like *popcorn* where the gravel is not situated enough in the concrete and sticks up. Also noticed the expansion joints that were cut were ragged, uneven, and in some cases had concreted in the joint. This was March 7th. Spoke with the foreman and was told that they would be back within a week or two to address any blemishes, etc. After not hearing anything, I reached out on March 20th and was informed they were shut down due to COVID and their insurance would not cover. Fine, I can wait. Did not hear anything for 6 or 7 weeks, then I left a voicemail and received a text in response on May 7th, and that I would be *squared away* by May 20th. Foreman came out in the early part of June and said they would resurface the sidewalk and make it look better. Another 4 weeks went by and then foreman emailed and said they would be there July 2nd to resurface and finish. I requested that they take extra care to keep it clean because I had since finished the adjacent flower bed with gravel and landscaping and they agreed. That did not happen. The mixed with my decorative gravel and landscape wiring and now I have a mess to fix. Two of my water hoses they used have concrete caked around the handles. Was told a *laborer* would be by July 3rd to clean and that certainly did not happen. My landscape lighting has concrete dust all over it. The sidewalk is so unlevel in spots water puddles over it. Can not stress enough how unhappy I am with the quality and lack of concern shown by this company. On a side note, the day of the installation, the owner and his workers showed up all of their vehicles had 3% decals on them. If the owner had shown up in that vehicle the day of the estimate I would have never signed.

Took longer than expected. Several times I wondered why they did not show up when the weather was good - probably why it took longer to finish the job. Communication was not good at times.

The only complaint I have is their failure to call if they were going to be delayed or not coming.

Ryan provided helpful and creative suggestions for my backyard and the results where fabulous. He notified me when he would be at my home and finished the project on time. The STAR team where friendly and very hard workers. Great Job!
