Write a ReviewJust a little bit more costly than I think they should have been
So sorry you felt that way. I told your father the cost over the phone based upon the information provided. After figuring out that it was truly the Pressure Reducing Valve failing, you still had the option of not having the work completed by us. We are not a "High Pressure" company try to give our customers the best information that we can so you can make an the best informed decision possible.
Due to the difficult challenge of the job, Steve, the owner of the business, actually came and did the job himself. We waited a little longer for him to have the time, but it wasnâ t an emergency. It was well worth the wait and priced very fairly.
Accidents happen. The hot water heater was installed improperly. 115 days and no repairs to $20k in damaged to my home. Owners insurance company is useless for support. Owner says I dont know what to tell you?. No floors. No walls. No ceiling. Kitchen cabinets in the dining room. Angis no help in getting resolution. Hope the owner of Springfield plumbing is enjoying his Christmas - no celebrating here this year.
First and foremost, we are terribly sorry this happened to you. I try to hire the very best people to work for my company and sometimes, while almost never, my technicians make a mistake. In this case, our technician did make a mistake during the installation which resulted in the damage the as described. And that technician has been relieved of his duties. A couple of things should be noted: We responded immediately to the problem when notified. We had a well known, professional water restoration company come out to assess the damage and complete the cleanup within an hour of the notification of the incident. We immediately filed a claim with our insurance company and an adjuster was assigned within a day or two. My insurance company accepted responsibility immediately and began to try to work with our customer to get her home back together as quickly as possible While I would have liked to take care of the damage without the insurance, It became clear that this issue was going to require insurance company involvement due the extent of the water damage and my interactions with the homeowner. Our customer was advised, by both the water remediation company and my insurance company to contact her own insurance to help with the repairs and any subrogation issues, and my water remediation company and others suggested she hire a Home Inspector to facilitate the claim and the repairs. I believe she may have done this afterwards, when she was not happy with my insurance companies offer. But I am not sure of this. I think there was a delay with the customer's contractor for quotes and the possibly of the insurance company not accepting damage estimates. I honestly don't know what happening at this point as the insurance company is still negotiating with the customer. I am not involved with the negotiations between the customer, her insurance company, and my insurance company. I would like to help facilitate a resolution, but I have been advised to let the insurance companies to work it out I have been in contact with the claims adjuster and I was told they are working with the client to try to settle this claim. The latest notice I received is that they are waiting on her insurance company to submit the claim to my company for subrogation. I truly have no idea why there has been a delay in getting the work finished in a timely manner. But I do know that we have done everything in our power to preserve the property, limit the damage, and move things along on our end. Again, I am truly sorry for the incident and I will push for a resolution as soon as possible.
knowledgeable and courteous.
We wanted a new water heater. They were available on the day I wanted . We scheduled a time. They came on time, put in the new heater without an issues, took away the old one, weâ re done in less than an hour. The work was done cleanly and the installers were friendly and I believe the price was reasonable.
