Reviews
Write a ReviewI own a commercial property in Ft Lauderdale with a seven space parking lot. I had 3 bids for seal coating. All three gave me an estimate. South Florida Asphalt was the least expensive, and I felt that Joe was the most professional. He was prompt, straight forward and answered all my questions. It was tricky to get all the tenants to agree on when it was the least inconvenient to do the job and let the coating dry and set for a day. Joe and the crew started at 7:30 am and were done by nine.. they striped and painted the wheel stops and even relocated one I wanted moved. I definitely would recommend them and use them again.
Our Homeowners Association (HOA) hired this company (the company had another name before) to repair our street (roughly 500 feet). They were contracted to repair cracks in the street by applying a slurry seal and paint all curbs and markings. The repair was done in 2018 (Mothers Day weekend). The paint job was messy and unprofessional. The slurry seal was not applied properly and the cracks reappeared a couple of weeks later. The company came back out (Fathers Day weekend) and applied more slurry seal and crack filler. Mr. Gilk stated that they would return and properly paint the curb and markings by the end of the summer when they would not be as busy. To date, that effort has not taken place and they never returned nor attempted to contact the HOA. Right now the crack looks almost the same as before the slurry seal. It appears that company owners (Mr. and Mrs. Gilk) can no longer be reached and they have relocated to Florida under the company name of South Florida Asphalt Services LLC (probably being operated out of their home). Based on some of the other reviews (from VA) they should be reported to the BBB. We will be seeking restitution and we require the company to honor its warranty and provide a remedy for this issue.
Prompt provide an estimate kept their word and did a great job
Cheaper than everyone else. They did the job in about an hour and a half
Gus and Dianne are very Customer and Quality Orientated. I would recommend them to all.
Very professional, prompt.
Diane and Gus were great to work with! Prompt, knowledgeable, and extra patient with my shared driveway situation (they had to meet two sets of owners and keep us both informed throughout the project). Truly went the extra mile, highly recommended!!
Was very happy with the service and willingness to accommodate my needs. The crew worked very hard on a hot day. The job turned out well, but I was told that no trucks could be driven onto the new asphalt until the Fall and until after putting down a coating. I wish I had known that ahead of time. Also, they damaged some blue spruce that was near the driveway. But I would still recommend All County Asphalt. They were in the middle of my estimates, not too high or too low.
did a great job widening my driveway. Just having problems with the edges breaking away. Also the driveway was different shades but Gus came back on another visit and put a seal coating on it and it looks great now. He is also coming back when the weather is suitable to inspect and repair the edging.
