How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I made the choice to become an irrigation contractor started with from this combination of passion, practicality, and desire to be a helpful force in my community. I was drawn into this profession because it allows me to merge my love for working outdoors with a genuine interest in the inner-working of irrigation maintenance, repairs and installations. Irrigation is a critical component in ensuring the health and liveliness of landscapes so I recognized the significant impact that proper water distribution can have on plant growth, property appearance, in some cases crop yields, as well as cost efficiency for each homeowner. By becoming an irrigation contractor, I saw an opportunity to contribute to the helping my neighbors with optimizing their systems and being that friendly face they can rely on ,for a sometimes overlooked, aspect of homeownership. Being a high energy person the dynamic nature of the job appealed to me as well. As an irrigation contractor I get to face unique challenges and opportunities, to be your irrigation problem solver (and use tools, can't beat that). .

Jacob came over fast and looked at our issue? a broken sprinkler head!! Fixed it and checked all our sprinklers n showed us the water gauge box!!! Apparently the former owner lowered the drip system tooooooo low!!! No wonder some of the plants were dying!!! Jacob adjusted the drip to an hour every other day!!!! He also knows his plants ?. We will certainly have him come out again!!! Thanks Sngis list!! ?? pat l

Jacob was the name of the Maintenance person who worked on our lawn. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He was also thorough and Cleaned up all the debris and leftover materials. He did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend him and the company to all my neighbors.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
