Beware of the company. when there is a problem. They significantly delayed their response. I contracted for an office move, paid a retainer, and received confirmation for the move. The movers never showed up and the owner failed to return my call or text when I inquired. Postscript- finally heard from owner. 3 1/2 hour delay. He was apologetic about his failure to inform me of the delay. The move itself was satisfactory.

Kind manager on the phone, very kind crew. Problem with improper loading of the POD with damage to furniture. Dirt on the hands of the crew caused dark marks on upholstery, requiring Smart Penny to send out a person to clean the furniture in the new location.

I was notified when the truck would arrive and it was a bit early, nice! The movers were efficient and respectful of my belongings. The job was done in the time predicted with three men in constant motion. We had a few laughs together and the communications, starting with Michael in the office and the movers on the job, were excellent. Based on my experience I would say you will be happy with Smart Penny.

Excellent company. Great movers. They took care of everything They placed the furniture where I asked. Lots of boxes were moved. They were very helpful in my move to the new place.

  9. Identity Verification (SSN)
    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
