The showed up and went straight to work. All the furniture was moved with no problem, except the hutch. The hutch was made by my grandfather in the 60's and is sentimental, but was made as a unit and did not come apart. They were able to go up the back stairs and thru my son's room. Very awkward to get in the house but they figured it out.

It was a small project but they were very flexible and patient with me when the full amount of stuff to be moved had not been fully determined. I will be hiring them again soon.

Move was for kitchen appliances only. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They were professional and calm and could deal with the very tight parking in Somerville as well as the trash and recycling trucks that all seemed to arrive at the same time and day and location I scheduled for the move.

The 2 man movers where wonderful. On time, quick, and courteous. Furniture was wrapped and protected like I have never seen before. Would call them if needed again.

Smart Penny was great when we moved in-state this past weekend. They arrived on time, were very polite, explained everything they were doing and asked questions on what to take/not-take. They moved quickly and efficiently. Everything appears to be in perfect condition. Would use again.

We are senior citizens and Smart Penny Moving were definitely the absolute best moving company we ever have used. many Their 3 man crew were like Energizer Bunnies, never slacking off, while wrapping each piece of our cherished furniture with their clean thick blankets. In my opinion their price was a bargain. If ever we need moving services we will surely call them. And no, we are not related in any way to this company. They earned every twinkle in our 5 star rating.

Smart Penny Movers is a great company to use if youre moving. They arrive when they say they will, are careful moving furniture and other items and as busy as they were they took the time to answer questions and make last minute changes without complaining.

Two people and they did awesome job. Taken good care of items while moving and very professional. Reasonably priced and did not wasted time and finished job before the previously estimated timeframe. Will definitely recommend to others.
