It was a dirty job, but he did it quickly and professionally and all for a reasonable price. Would definitely hire again.

Called ServiceOne to do maintenance on AC, when tech arrived I also mentioned that blower motor is probably not working and needs to be replaced and asked to check thermostat as well because I replaced thermostat about 8 months ago with Nest thermostat. My AC was working perfectly with the exception that blower motor keeps the fan inside air handler on. After tech did his checks he mentioned that blower motor does need to be replaced and also said that only 2 of the 8 wires from my thermostat going to the air handler and the outside unit has continuity (working). This was not a problem before the tech did his check as the AC unit outside and inside were working fine before tech did anything, after tech test outside unit stopped working. Tech then mentioned that they will have to rewire from thermostat to air handler to outside unit on the side of my house and itâ ll cost ~$800 and to replace the blower motor would be ~$500. I was not comfortable with the rewire and asked for another tech, they send a senior tech. After his check, he mentioned 4 of the wires are working and will need to rewire from inside to outside the house. They cut the wires and I had no AC or heat, which they said they will fix the next day. The senior tech did fix it so the aux heat can work until the next day. I called a different AC company and their diagnoses were the blower motor is bad, however the wires from the thermostat to the air handler and outside unit is fine. The different AC company replaced the blower motor and had to fix all the cut wires ServiceOne did and cost me $350 for fixing ServieOne mess with the wires. No rewiring was done as all the wires had power. I will never do business with ServiceOne again and will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and consumers affairs. As two of their technician came up with the same conclusion that the wires from thermostat to outside unit and air handler had no power and other AC company found no issues with those wires.

Read this if you are considering using Service One. I have had two terrible interactions with this company. First, I have had the evaporator coil go out twice on one of the units they installed. I was initially told that the repair would be covered under warranty but was later told that the warranty was only 5 years (instead of 10) because I did not complete and submit the warranty paperwork. Meanwhile, I was never given any paperwork when the unit was installed. The next negative interaction was when they came out to one of my rental properties for an annual service. At this visit, they told my tenant that the AC unit was old and needed to be replaced. Meanwhile, the tenant had never complained about this unit, and it had been operating perfectly. After this visit, the tenant began complaining about the AC, and I ended up having to replace it using another company. Both of these experiences represent terrible business practices, and I recommend looking elsewhere.
