Reviews
Write a ReviewMy 86 year old mother asked me to help her find and hire a plumber to unclog her kitchen sink so i called this company. They had quoted $700 and even though the price they quoted was extremely high i went ahead and let them unplug the kitchen sink. I took photos of everything before he started and after it was in his words completed. When I went to check the work he had completed nothing had changed. The sink was still clogged and he was asking me to pay him the $700 he had initially quoted. I said, " What are you talking about its still clogged", To which he replied that he would have to give me another bid and quoted another $300. To make a long story short I spoke with the Supervisor and tried to come up with a remedy which he refused to discuss. Once it goes to court the facts, along the voice recordings from the receptionist who gave me permission to record the conversation and even agreed with me when we discussed the how the job wasn't done correctly.
Friendly and efficient
Installation and workmanship were superb! Able to get installed the next week from estimate. Very professional and our mini-split is ready for the upcoming winters and summers.
Excellent service.
Installation was a higher cost but workmanship was excellent.
Good service and prompt response.
goos work done felt the cost was high but limited choice at the time
Service and quality of work were standard, but at the completion of the job, I asked the plumber what was their shop rate per hour? He responded $343.00/hr. The quote was $5000.00+. Do the math: 4.5 hrs x 2 men x $343/hr = $3,087.00 The quote included the installation of two freezes sillcocks and a new water softener. That labor rate is excessive. Yes, I accepted the quote, but I will never call them again! Far too expensive! Get me once, shame you. Get me twice, shame on me.
I understand now that many plumbing companies do not quote an hourly rate but rather assign a price when the project is viewed onsite. This process is ripe for misuse as in this case. Service Today serviceman, who is very experienced, looked at my situation and assessed a price of $1200. The job took less than 90 minutes. The cost of parts was $25 or less. That equates to an hourly rate of $800. I made the mistake of not checking their customer review rating beforehand. Their rating is 1.5. Saw several reviews concerning over charging.
Amazing job
