Semper Fi Complaint On October 29th, I contacted Parker and Sons regarding an issue with my air conditioning unit. Their technician diagnosed that the blower motor needed replacement and provided a quote. Seeking a second opinion, I called Semper Fi Heating and Cooling, and their technician visited the same day. After inspecting the unit, he confirmed that both the blower motor and the condenser motor needed replacement. I agreed to the quoted price. Later, the Semper Fi technician informed me that the parts were under warranty. He returned on October 30th to replace the parts but, after spending over an hour on the roof, he halted the work, claiming there was wire damage and blaming Parker and Sons for the cut wires. I contacted Parker and Sons, who disagreed and provided video and pictures showing the fan was operational during their last check. The initial Semper Fi technician had not mentioned any cut wires or issues with the fan. I later learned that the fan could not have been operational if the wires were cut at that time. I spoke with the manager of Semper Fi, forwarding her the evidence from Parker and Sons. On October 31st, the manager called to inform me that Semper Fi would not repair the wires, citing an invoice from their initial technician stating the wires were cut during his first visit. She insisted that Parker and Sons were responsible for the wire repair. I paid Semper Fi a $600 deposit, which has not been refunded, and they still have the warranty parts. This situation affects my 94-year-old mother, who has dementia and has lived in her home for 60 years. She is also a widow of a Navy veteran who served for over 30 years. As a local business owner and veteran advocate, I hope Jesse, the owner of Semper Fi, will address this issue promptly and demonstrate his support for the veteran community. We need Semper Fi to take responsibility and resolve this matter.

So this is a somewhat mixed review. When I first hired semper Fi to put in my new unit their customer service was over the top. They did an amazing job and showed up when they said they were going to be here. Now fast forward 5 months and my unit has been short cycling. Trying to get somebody to come out has been a nightmare. I am now going on 3 weeks and finally had someone come this Saturday but I had no idea they were coming because no one let me know. He said my unit was two and a half pounds short on freon so he added it and figured it would be okay. That was all he checked. That afternoon it started short cycling again. It's short cycled for an entire hour then ran for 45 minutes solid. I called again and said somebody needs to come out and they said nobody could come out but that Vivian would call me and let me know. That never happened. I called again and by this time I'm overly angry and they set a supervisor will call me. So finally for the first time I get a call back from a supervisor and she sets an actual time for someone to come by. Nobody else could seem to do this. So the gentleman shows up on Tuesday and says my unit is overcharged in freon. So which is it, overcharged, undercharged? He spends about 45 minutes on my unit and says that a warranty specialist would be out the next day. Well, here it is the next day and no one shows. So I call once again and ask to speak to a manager. He said he will put me on their list and someone would call me later today. Well, no one has called me yet and to say I'm angry is an understatement! My time is important to me I'm waiting for someone to come and then no one comes or calls is beyond poor customer service. Now that you have my money you can't warranty my unit? If I was anyone out there looking for a unit, go with somebody else if you want follow-up customer service. Apparently semper Fi forgot what it's all about.

Dealing with Semper Fi heating and cooling has been and continues to be a nightmare and negative experience. Third AC unit installed in a month and a half. The previous two, the first diagnosed with a bad compressor and the second with a bad condenser. The third unit installed a week ago is now leaking oil. We called for them to come look and after making an appointment, they don't show up. During the month and a half that we have been dealing with this company, there have been numerous times that they don't come to appointments, very poor customer service and communication. Malfunctioning units. We do not recommend this company.

Go with Parker & Sons! We hired Semper Fi a few weeks ago and bought the $17k unit for our 1200 sqft home in Gilbert. It's been leaking water onto our roof ever since they installed it. They keep giving us the run around and sending unqualified people out who say they fix it but it's not. All of their stories on what's going on are mixed up between themselves. I'll be leaving reviews in every possible place for these guys. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

First I want to say they did there job and got my AC working right,it looked like from the ground watching them they were testing all kinds of stuff? But upon getting my receipt email ,there was no explanation of what the guys did,and then it showse a page of all the stuff they were supposed to test,my page had all ZERO'S or n/a, nothing on that receipt that I could comprehend an explanation of what they did,he took all kinds of pics of my unit(was it my unit?)so here's the problem,when he came at me with the bill $$600.00 and that's with vet discount! Now ,not one part was used ,no chemicals,nothing they cleaned the fan and I forget what the other part was that was dirty,they washed it off,and they were done in less than an hour, my bill was$600.00 for no parts ,no test on my unit(receipt shows all zeros)just a cleaning,he told me it didn't need charging. No pics of my unit w/receipt, I thought they would be pics. ALL THIS IN LESS THAN HOUR!! $600.00 come on!I' I'm not down the guys they did there job the way they should, my AC was blowing cold and I was happy . I would tell friends about the service I received and would recommend Semper FI.,but I would suggest the watch there bill in the end.im in the service and repair (plumber) and again the guys were good,it's just hard to understand $600.00. Their estimator came out on Thursday and Friday morning 2 guys bring out the new unit. They disconnected the old unit and a crane shows up to remove to old unit. The crane lifts the new unit up to to roof where it is hooked up. It took up to 3 hours to install the new unit. This business is a veteran owned and operated and me being a veteran would highly recommend Semper Fi Heating and Cooling.

I will start with the good: -The work looks great an is quality work. But that is all that is good. Now the bad: -Don't believe the vets/first responders 20% off BS, they jack up the prices by 30% then give you a 20% discount. While they were performing a water heater replacement another company called and gave me a $1900 quote for the job, Semper Fi charged me $2128 with a 20% discount plus another $200 discount to help "ease the pain". Pricing is BS! -They charged $434/hour in labor to install!!! I priced out all the exact same parts they used and it came out to $826 after discounts and taxes. Using a standard 3 hour install (don't think they were there that long as I had to leave mid way though install) that comes out to $434/hour. -I measured the dimensions and said the water heater they brought wasn't going to fit, the tech said it would. He then requested my help to lift the unit in place and it didn't fit. He then used some of my tools to make the pan fit, and started cutting away piping installed in the walls to make the unit fit. I suggested I go get the exact same unit that was there prior as it would be simpler and faster for him but he flat out refused my idea even though I was uncomfortable with the situation. -Then it happened again, the unit he brought didn't fit the exhaust that was plumed into the house an he asked to use my tools again to make adjustments to his parts so it could fit. All in all, it was quality work, but they do not care about the comfort of the home owner, and they jack up there prices to give you that 20% veteran discount. On top of that they still gouge on the hourly labor rate...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I called Semper Fi Heating and Cooling for a second opinion for my HVAC and the compressor. It was a spur of the moment call late evening. Their serviceman, Luis, arrived soon after the call. The result was Luis settled my mind with his expertise, carefully explaining what caused the temporary problem. Luis is a professional with heating and cooling systems.
