How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because Supporting you and your home isn’t just a motto, it is our way of life. If you are searching for the proper foundation repair company then look no further. Our process is thorough however necessary when it comes to your asset and the ones it holds. A typical day with us starts with a very kind and friendly conversation with our office, we schedule an appointment that work best with you and your schedule. One of our technicians will arrive on time and perform an in depth inspection which will take approximately an hour of your time. If repairs are necessary an estimated cost for the scope of work will be provided in a timely manner. Repairs can be scheduled at the time of evaluation however we respect that additional time may be necessary for thought and discussion with friends and family; in which a routine follow up will be made on our end. At the end of the day you will have more knowledge about your property than you have had before and feel comfortable to make the right decision..

We have a century old pier and beam house that needed stabilizing and adjustment of low spots. Schiably did a great job working with us explaining what was bring done and respectful of our Home. They did extensive excavation and adjustments to correct our issues. Their entire team was good to work with. We would recommend them to anyone in the future!

Fantastic work! Super easy communication, free estimates, straight up with you about the whole process and pricing. Foundation work is a big job and you can trust these guys to do it right. They even had leftover soil from their work and filled in an old garden bed that I had been wanting to fill in. Great service all around! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Schaibly Brothers. I asked for the free estimate to level my pier and beam cottage. They were out within a few days, wow! Then I received my quote from them a couple of days later, more wow! It was very reasonable so we agreed on them doing the work. They came out within a week and finished it in one day............. SUPER WOW! All this in spite of the cottage door locking itself and them out, but they took control and found a way in......at no additional cost for the inconvenience. If you have a foundation need, in my book they are the ones to help you through it.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
