Unable to do what he promised he would do

Make sure you get every thing nice and clear on paper in English writing. He makes false promises. He speaks well wile he is convincing you to hire him and he will say any thing to get the job but when it comes time to fill his promise he no longer understands or can speaks English. He led me to believe that he would renovate my basement for 2,700 in front of a bunch of competing contractors, just to get the job. Four days into the job he decided to re-negotiate! He denied to ever agreeing to put a vinal floor down and to finish the entire basement. I stopped the job and the pay. Now we are in small claims court! I wish I never would have chosen Scale Home Improvement.

Olmedo is a great guy who is very hard working. He has done three projects for me and I’m sure I will hire him for more. Love the work that he does.

I don't know what Mr. Olmedo performed, and for what he received good opinions, but in my apartment he built a temporary wall with the opening to a sliding door. The opening in the wall does not keep any line either horizontal (2" difference), or vertical (1" difference). Therefore sliding doors do not fit to the wall and are placed on the floor without any possibility of sliding. I do not even mention less important things, I do not recommend.

Olmedo was excellent to work with. Punctual, professional, assessed the problem quickly and fixed it on the budget and timeline provided. Enthusiastically recommended!

He and his wife were very nice. He came up with some good solutions to my problem. My issues were he didn't clean up. He cut brick and did not protect the area so I had brick dust everywhere. The second time he came to finish and he left all the garbage everywhere. He also only sent and email saying he did some work instead of a receipt. I had to remind him a few times for that. He can be good but he needs to improve with this.

Very professional and polite. did the job good and fast. My sidewalk was done in no time I would recommend them.

The contractor was very professional. Arrived promptly and finished the job on the same day. He even pointed out a problem with the cabinet and fixed it for free. I would recommend Scale Home Improvement to others.

Did not do a good cleanup.

Olmedo was very thorough and professional I have already given him another project to cost out for me.
