Reviews
Write a ReviewI would have rated him higher, but the first plumber he hired to install a tub that I bought charged be $4,000 just for labor, and did not finish the job. He hired a second plumber for about $800 to install a new valve and faucet I bought, and who also did not finish the job. He decided to finish the job himself and now water comes out both my tub faucet and shower when I turn on the water and rust comes out the tub faucet, indicating he used a too-small pipe of the wrong material.
This survey did not let me choose the actual project, which was a bathtub/shower remodel. There were some unanticipated changes once his team demoed the bathtub and surround. We pivoted and I would have given Ty higher marks. The reasons I cannot not are that he hired a plumbing company that billed me $4000 (four thousand dollars) to attach a tub that I bought to existing plumbing and unnecessarily moved the existing valve. He proceeded to hire a second plumber for $600 who installed a new valve, but not the pipe to connect the tub faucet, and who reversed the hot and cold. Ty decided to finish the plumbing installation himself, and now rust exits the tub faucet every time it is turned on and water also comes out the shower head, indicating he used the wrong-sized pipe and material. I can't upload video here to show it. He also never finished the wall where he cut a hole to access the pipes. Despite repeated attempts, he hasn't returned. I need to hire a 3rd plumber to fix this.
Ty does great, quality work and is also professional and kind. We would hire Rose City Urban Developments again!
I had a rather unusual need: I had to widen the opening to the refrigerator cabinet so that our new fridge could fit. He came out, did the work, cleaned up after himself, and you can't even tell that the decorative trim was cut! It came out better than I hoped, and saved us from having to do more drastic work.
Great Person Exsplains Things Well That he Needs to do to Make things work.
It went well
Ty was professional, timely, and responsive. He has good customer service. His prices are reasonable and he did a good job installing a single panel door for our backyard. Will definitely consider hiring him again!
They were great!
Intelligent, respectful, and able to get others involved to do the project.
Ty Carr fixed my problem quickly and effectively (storm door) I recommend Ty enthusiastically. Martin L
