He don't mess around. Didn't do everything he said he would do, but overall it looks nice. Quite a few water pockets. Some pretty big. Liked Richard and the whole crew. Would probably use them again

Notified a couple of blacktop companies and never heard back. I emailed Richard and he called me right away to schedule an estimate that same day. Two days later I had a new driveway. It looks great. I highly recommend Smith Blacktop. The crew worked in a professional manner.

I do not believe they did the job so it will last. Some of the way they did items was not what I was told was the correct way. They used old asphalt pieces under gravel and did not cut old areas and pack. By the end of driveway they used pick and chip the concrete then layed the asphalt on top...instead of up to it and not straight either. where they matched at joint in the middle of my driveway is not a very clean line. The driveway goes up the side of my house....and it is not straight..it curves just a little....they did everything by eye...no measurements.
