Reviews
Write a ReviewFirst, the part of the work that was completed was of decent quality (flooring, plumbing, and electrical for my basement bar). However, Mike and his partner James did not complete the contract of installing cabinets. It seemed that he had taken a contract for something that he did not have the expertise in for the job(flooring and cabinet install) and kept back paddling and misdirected me on multiple occasions on what products were needed. The flooring was finally completed after four visits (less than 100 sf) Cabinets need some minor assembly (doors and drawers) and he revised his price when he realized and I accommodated the changed quote. However, he kept bringing up that he was incurring more while he had already updated the quote, this made this cost conversation annoying and they still could not commit time (especially James). Ultimately they came today and I was hoping they can complete the job and get paid but claimed that some screws were missing, I offered to run to the store to get it, however, they had other commitments, so screws seemed to be just an escape plan. They have abandoned the job now after hanging with me for almost a month. Bad experience, would not recommend this company.
Mr. Vinwar, you are being inaccurate. The flooring looks great & would have been finished completely at the time of install if you had the transition strips, there were none!. It would have been finished the 2nd visit if you did not get the wrong transition. It wasn't until I purchased the transition did it get finished & very nicely I might add! The quote was for installation only, NO assembly included! Why is it you want time & labor for free? The cabinets are not some assembly, they needed draws assembled & glides installed, side panels clamped & then drilled & then screwed on (but no screws included), shelves, doors & trim moldings, (detailed work with no proper place to do this, your cluttered basement is not the venue for detailed work), 75% assembly required! All that was assembled were boxes which you originally thought were the wrong color cabinets. Please understand what you are buying, it is not my responsibility to educate you, after the fact/purchase! You were the one who kept putting us off as you were not available when we were! We cannot adjust our schedules to meet yours! We have other clients we are working for, not just you! Your cabinets were short drawer fronts & parts multiple times & you cannot just go & buy any screws for specialty cabinets, to put on side panels! Take it up with Menards! I recommended porcelain tile not the least expensive LVT on the market. We always recommend Home Depot or Lowes at a minimum because they have cabinet pro's who set down with you & get it right the 1st time, right out of the box, No assembly required. Quotes are for install only & you bickered & haggled over the absolute lowest price for assembly. I even offered to finish the job if you got all the parts required, as it is I have 6 hours that I was never paid for. I bet you get paid for every second of your time in regards to your work!! The bottom line is you are the person who made the purchase, you should known what you were buying & should have conveyed that to me. I would not recommend you as a client to anyone! Best of luck in the future & God Bless You~
Chad was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was professional, courteous and patient as we worked on final details.
Very honest man. His work is good quality and his pricing is very reasonable. I've hired him on a few sperate jobs and have been very happy with his work
Kept us appraised of the next steps and was thorough
Did the requested work at a reasonable price.
Everything was done with attention to detail. The room was in our basement and was in need of electrical updating as well as complete finishing. Mike was a pleasure to work with and made sure we were happy with the job.
Mike was reliable, thorough and very reasonable priced. We've used him on multiple projects.
He pays attention to your problem.
