DO NOT make the mistake of hiring this man Greg Upah. He told me the mold testing would be $475. I added VOC's and a mattress surface sample at which time he increased the price to $675. He did not do the mattress sample, he did not even bring a ladder with him, he refused to reset the visit and bring a ladder as he was told the mold was in the a/c duct work, refused to checked all vents/ducts in the apartment only looking in one vent (the vent he could get to from the bathroom cabinet), refusing to sample test the actual vent with all the mold that I paid him to test, then sent a mold report that showed on mold spore fragments. I had another report that had been just taken from another company that showed the highest levels (5) of three different molds. This man stole my money, sent a text telling me he would refund the mold testing charges then refused to do so. A complaint will be filed with the BBB and all other applicable parties. I have more than $10K in medical bills from this mold, I was referred to him by my physician and this man took advantage of my illness and the fact that I am a single mother. This man underhandedly destroyed any chance I had at a lawsuit to recoup damages and I had toxic levels of mold in my body (331/2 %). PLEASE do not hire this man. He will take advantage of you, overcharge you such as with me he promised to sample my mattress included in the charge but didn't however didn't deduct the charge to do so. With his service he promised to check the entire place for mold but checked one single vent he could get to on the counter as he did not bring a ladder. He refused to provide me the protocol report though he promised to do so as the other company I hired failed to do so.

I was told oned price over the phone, when he arrived it was a higher price. He told me 3 to 4 days to get the results. It has been 12 days now and no results. I have called him checking on the project, he said he would call me back with the results and I have not heard from him yet.

My direct number is 214-803-9373. Sorry, do you think anyone at RCI Environmental, Inc. did any misrepresentation to you? But I think you must have the wrong company in your gun sites, But if you need environmental consulting services again, there is a base charge for the inspection, sample collection, and report generation with recommendations. Sample was taken promptly, but "computer problems" caused the report to came back a day later than promised, delaying my ability to close on sale of the property, and meaning that I have not yet found an abatement company. RCI recommended two abatement companies, but one of them will not answer the phone.
Response from Company:
The client refused to pay for expiated sample analysis, but wants laboratory analytical results immediately; Cannot get both! And really, if you know that you need an asbestos survey or a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and you wait until the last few days, do you really expect your environmental consultant can provide the information you need in two or three days? Your lack of awareness, not their inability to provide you with the information you require to close your purchase, is your fault.
