I was desperate to remediate a mold problem after my apartment bathrom flooded, so IGoogled and discover four companies. I chose Pure Maintenance of CA after speaking with them, and felt they had a perfect package that was cost effective, more effective, and less destructive to my apartment. My one bedroom consists of two large carpeted rooms, separated by a drywall. Their package involves injecting the drywall with a patent pending, non-toxic, antimicrobial spray through a tiny while in each affected cavity, after drying it out with adehumifying scrubber using the same holes. Once dried, the cavity is sprayed with a patent pending, non-toxic, antimicrobial sealer, and the holes are easily plastered, evacuation though you can barely see them in the first place. Finally, my entire apartment was fogged for a few hours with a simple solution of vinegar and peroxide, to destroy all airborne spores. Not that this fogging solution does not require you to cover up your furniture or belongings. In the contrary, it's important to let it come in contact with everything, since spores can be anywhere. The entire process took about eight hours, so I went to work in the morning, and returned home that evening to a mold free apartment! Unlike the normal practice of cutting drywall (and releasing more airborne spores!), bleaching their cavities, then replacing and pairing that drywall, which takes far longer, is less effective, is more destructive, and costs more for labor, not to mention cleanup. The latter practice is better suited to a larger home that's had a major flood, where water's sitting a longer period of time than mine, which was only a few hours. In such cases, the walls would probably be showing mold and warping, so they'd have to be replaced, and carpets removed, instead of thoroughly drying them out, and treating them in place. In summary, Pure Maintenance of CA has more options than the standard wrecking crew flood remediation companies, and is more cost effective, so give them a call and they'll figure out your best options.

I prepaid and did not get the Services I paid for. I am currently disputing the charges with my credit card company. Their entire approach to the problem did not affect the mold source I would never hire them again nor recommend them.
