We offer electrical panel changing/repairs and generator installation, We are an authorized Cummins and Onan distributor and would love to assist you with all your electrical panel and generator needs. How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because we have a passion to to be an exceptional electrical contractor, serve our clients with excellence. Pro Tech Power is a family owned and operated business. Drew Anderson was born and raised in the Willamette Valley. After spending 10 years working as a project manager for Cherry City Electric, Drew gained some field experience and left the office to compete his electrical apprenticeship. A short time after earning his Journeyman's license, Pro Tech Power was established. His wife, Tatiana, joined his vision in 2019. The business is built around faithfully serving our employees, customers, and supporting Christian ministries. As a family owned business, our heart is to extend the family atmosphere to all of our customers, suppliers and employees. We purpose to honor God in how Pro Tech Power conducts business. We are rooted in a sincere faith and humble trust in God and a belief that if you want a long and satisfying life never tire of loyalty and kindness..

Surprised with all the positive reviews - but maybe they are okay doing super simple jobs. We had a terrible experience with Pro Tech Power doing the electrical work for our home. We had nothing but problems - expensive mistakes, lack of communication, and overall frustration through the project. Wish we had done some diligence before hiring them and avoided so many headaches. What a mess. Still dealing with fixing their mistakes to this day.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
