Reviews
Write a ReviewJamar installed an electric dog door in wall for us. He did a fabulous job, looks great, and they cleaned up after themselves. Very happy and will have him back if we need any repairs.
Professional, courteous and efficient.
MR. J. Jacob's , installed a Back splash in my kitchen. There Logo is Philly's Best really is what I described the fabulous work he has provide for me. I'm already looking forward to the next project. 2nd best thing they clean up behind them selves. Trust Worthy also! Great job Philly's Best Home Improvement.
He told me he got the same size bathtub that I had before, but this bathtub is lower, It is definitely not the same size. The tile work in in the bathroom is really bad approximately five tiles are broken. I originally only thought it was one and he said he can pretty it up but it looks sloppy like an amateur did it. Then where he cut some tile off on the other side of the wall, you can still see the top of the old tile where it was cut and he installed new tile. He is not a tile or bathtub faucet person. The bathtub faucets are not even to the wall nor is the tub sprout. The first time when he was done installing the tub and he was leaving he did not even mention the faucets or the wall, which leads me to believe he was going to leave the unfinished work, I had to ask him about it. Yeah, and I had to keep calling and texting him to come for the faucets and the wall because it appeared he did not care I could not use the area instead he went and started someone elses job when mine was incomplete. Then when he finally came back, he put all this caulk around the faucets and tub sprout and I told him it is not supposed to look like that, then he made up excuse after excuse when they are not supposed to be like that. I know they are supposed to be against the wall not with a bunch of white caulk around it. It looks sloppy actually looks like something I could have done. I paid for the wall as well he was going to leave it with a bunch of tape on it, he put something on the wall and told me to sand it after it dried. Are you kidding me? I paid him for that wall. He had the nerve to tell me you didnt pay for sanding. Get this the faucets have approximately a 1/2-inch gap between the bad tile job and the faucets with a bunch of caulk in between and a quarter inch between the wall and the tub sprout with a bunch of caulk around it. You get what you paid for! At least the tub is not leaking. he also perfectly put in my bathroom sink. He does not know how to do tile work at all it looks sloppy and horrible. I have to paid someone else to come behind him and fix it. I wish I paid to get it done right the first time. But hey his prices are low which will draw you in. SMH, woman beware he will tell you any excuse that DOES NOT MAKE SENSE when you call him on his bad work. Hopefully this review will make him be honest with what he can do and with what he cant do and not make up excuses that are a bunch of lies to cover for the fact that he cannot not do it. It looks really bad for someone to say they have been doing this for 30 years and the job is sloppy! He is nice too super nice but the tile work and tub faucets are sloppy! I wish I got the plumber to do it now. Oh yeah then he will give you a super low price and keep adding onto it. He originally told me one price send an invoice for a higher price like he didnt know before hand had had to do cut out tile to get the tub out. Then he added on another price because he had to take out part of the wall. He knew all of this before hand it didnt just pop up.
This individual has completely exaggerated every word of this review. This was purposely done to lower our ratings. Contractors beware of these traps!
They did a good job.
Thank You.
I found Jamar to be extremely reliable and trustworthy. He does what he says he will do at the time that he proposed. His price was very reasonable and in two days, I trusted him enough to let him work in my home alone. His carpentry and plumbing knowledge is top notched. His craftsmanship is excellent and I am very happy to have him as my home improvement guy for life.
He does good work.
