The beginning of every project has a plan. Painting the outside of your home is no exception. Peacock Painting will provide a detailed work plan of what needs to be done to make your home look beautiful. The following is a typical protocol of what we do to paint the outside of your house: -Thoroughly wash/scrape/sand/ all surfaces to be painted -Tape off fixtures/screens from new paint -Prime entire area with tinted primed -Topcoat finish to smooth uniform shine -Reinstall any items affected by project -Review work order with customer confirm work done 'as agreed' We look forward to putting a new shine on your place.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I get a good feeling after painting a project. Painting is one of the less expensive way to make your house look updated. You can add simple a chair rail or bead board walls, these will add a new dimension to your home or business. Peacock Painting will provide accurate estimates for any work for to be done. These estimates will be signed off by you the customer. If there are changes, they will be repriced and a new estimate will be provided. Our crews will go over your estimate upon completion to make sure you are satisfied with the work. The term 'as agreed' applies to all projects. We hope to be successful by doing the basics. Be on time, do what you say, be clear on what the customer needs and provide skilled painters to complete the job. They were perfectionists on my job. Peacock Painting did my patio and driveway. When we noticed the surface was a little slick, they immediately applied a texturized coating. My surfaces are perfect. They are prompt, very professional, and thorough. I highly recommend them.

Peacock Painting did a great job painting the majority of the interior of our house, including the ceiling. Kevin, Jared and Shannon kept us updated on progress, cleaned up perfectly and were a pleasure to work with. Peacock also painted the exterior of our house last year and did an equally great job, which is one of the reasons we reused them this year.

Peacock Painting provided the best painting experience we have ever had with a painting company. The job they did for us was to repaint the exterior of our home. The process from the prep work, to painting, to identifying/fixing issues they came across, was simply amazing. They do not cut corners or take shortcuts. They pay attention to the smallest detail and the end-product exemplifies that, as the exterior of our home now looks fantastic. Company owners, Steve and Liz, stayed in touch with us throughout the process. The paint team (Mitch, Neil and Chuck) were professional, kept us up to date on the status of their work, were very nice and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience for us while they were here. I would not hesitate to recommend this Company for any painting needs and several of our friends have already asked for the Companyâ s contact information after they saw our newly painted home.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
