He was hired based on requirements from my township to confirm water run off would not fall into other properties due to introduction of new patio construction. He was very involved and on top or things and knowledgeable. He was successful in achieving my approvals with this town and I was able to proceed with my patio.
Expedient, professional and responsive service.
Paul is a very knowledgeable and experienced structural engineer. He helped us to understand the build structure of our home and how to approach some improvement projects the right way, as well as what to avoid. It was great peace of mind to have him come out before hiring contractors to begin projects because we now understand build code and safety requirements associated with our big ideas!
We have built or renovated several residential homes projects, including commercial as well. We interviewed several architects, and found â Paul Parsoneaultâ to have the experience, professionalism and enthusiasm that we were looking for. â Paul Parsoneaultâ is a design/architecture consulting firm, and from the very first meeting through the final walk through, we had been thoroughly impressed with him. â Paul Parsoneaultâ showed the rare ability to quickly and fairly resolve any disputes, whether with ourselves, the city inspectors, County permitting departments, the Condo Association, suppliers, or the sub-contractors. All communications are timely and very professional, knowledgeable, organized and well-established in the field. Look no further you want to work with this team! I would (and already have) recommend â Paul Parsoneaultâ and his consulting firm to anyone who is facing any construction project.
Paul was thorough, knowledgeable, and was readily able and took the time to explain things in a way that a lay person could understand.
Paul Parsoneault is very knowledgeable, skilled and experienced. He is also excellent in the area of communication. We would definitely recommend him and would hire him again.
No doubt, Paul is highly experienced engineer. It's easy co communicate with him. His explanations look quite reasonable. Very important that he is an independent engineer not associated with any construction company. We received useful advices and appreciated his help.
Paul provided advice for our HOA on two retaining walls and drainage issues. The drainage issue with the larger retaining wall was causing the wall to move, so it was of great concern as there are several houses behind the retaining wall. Paul was very knowledgeable and thorough when examining the retaining walls and took the time to explain everything to us and answered all our questions. He also provided a clearly written report with his observations and recommendations and took additional time to respond to any questions about the report including information on what type of contractors we would need to do the work and where to find them. He really does go above and beyond to make sure you have all the information you need in order to proceed with the next steps and will even help you if you need it as you move forward with the project. We were very pleased with his high standard of professionalism, expertise and communication and highly recommend his services.
I had no idea what to expect. This was a difficult situation for a conventional builder that needed unbiased eyes to think about the feasibility of a new house addition in a somewhat challenging environment. I knew that we were going to have to use some steel structural elements in it but I had no idea about the approach and other problems that would come up including the force vectors and the need to control shear and approaches to developing a lateral force shear system. Mr Parsoneault greatly educated us and give us a basis of really thinking logically about how to go forward with the project. so what began is just a question about how to size some steel elements expanded to make it much more understandable overall problem that we could approach holistically. Very lucky to have had his guidance.
