A paint store referred me to Dan. Initially I was hesitant, because there were not many online reviews. But after doing a walkthrough and estimate in person with Dan, and getting all my questions answered in the several weeks after, I took the chance and was very glad I did! This company is an absolute hidden gem in the painting business. My townhouse had not been painted in about 30 years. They did the entire interior in about 3 weeks, including the front door exterior, which required some extra steps. Both Dan and Zach were polite, meticulous in their painting technique and process, and painstaking in cleanup. I felt very confident that they did the job right, not stinting on hard steps like sanding, climbing up to take care of a cathedral skylight, etc. Second coats were done to eliminate visible roller/brush strokes as much as possible, resulting in smooth, lovely walls. Each night all materials were neatly collected and organized. Even when in the middle of the room painting, they somehow managed to be unobtrusive, which made it easier to be comfortable with extra people in the house all day. Dan worked with me to save money wherever possible, incorporating some of my existing paint to balance color changes. He was very flexible in timing to allow different paint choices, and also adjusted workflow to accommodate a carpet install. Importantly, I appreciated his fast and reliable communications from the first contact to the end of the job. Any questions on text or email were answered quickly, unlike some contractors who have delayed or incomplete responses. Price-wise, the value was outstanding and the quality appears to match. His estimate was spot-on to the dollar. My only disappointment is that Dan only does interior jobs these days, or I would hire him for my upcoming exterior painting. Update: One of the factors we are all very interested in is how a contractor responds after the job, if there is a problem later. I had the opportunity to test this with Dan, when some rust redeveloped on the newly painted front door, just a few months later. I called Dan, sent him some photos, and was very impressed with his follow-up. I had actually assumed that this would take just a few hours to fix, but Dan put in a full 2 and a half days days of strenuous, nonstop work. He was determined to eradicate every last bit of rust. He 1. Stripped 90% of the old paint off, down to bare metal, 2. sanded down all the rust, 3. sealed the metal twice with rust bonding primer, 4. used 3 coats of high-build primer to build up the areas to meet the painted surface, 5. sanded it all, 6. painted two tops coat of paint. Someone else may have try to short-cut steps, or just fix the rusty areas, but Dans full-bore response reflected his personal work ethic and pride in his company's reputation. It should also be noted that when I first called him, there was no delay, hassle, or attempt to add more to the price. He had painted the door the first time, and he stood by his work. Dan definitely added another checkmark to my first review with this follow-on fix.

Our choice was between Painting Inside and Out and another company that was recommended to us . We decided to go with Dan for two reasons -- his personality and demeanor and the process he used to prep the cabinets. His estimate also a little lower. A terrific decision on our part. Dan did the work as outlined and within his time estimate. Our kitchen cabinets were light maple and in good condition. We had them painted white and what a difference. The kitchen is so much brighter. Perhaps the best compliment came from the representative of the countertop company as he measured for our replacement countertop. "In my business we see a lot of painted cabinets," he said. "Some paint jobs are good, many are not. I do not hesitate to say this is the best paint job I have seen." There were two very minor blemishes that were barely noticeable and Dan corrected them and we can't even tell where they were. We were so pleased with his work, that we hired him to paint the fireplace in our family room. The brick fireplace wall spans the width of the family room and the mantle was a one-piece of unfinished natural wood. We also had the fireplace painted white and the mantle stained dark mahogany. Again, we were enormously pleased with Dan's work. There was no mess with either job and his cleanup was as though he were never there. Dan is very pleasant and easy to work with. We definitely would use him again and recommend him without hesitation.

Dan is very easy to work with and very flexible. He worked around my schedule. He does excellent work. All work was done to perfection. He painted my entire condo including the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen cabinets were 45 years old but look new now that they have been repainted. I couldn t believe the transformation. I highly recommend Dan. He is exceptional.

he is very meticulous, any questions he is right there, if he can save you money he will help, We used him many times and both of my daughter has also. The work he did for my daughters was their entire house inside and out.

They are very professional, have great communication, provide a detailed quote and options, show up on time and clean up after the job is done. If you want a professional painting company, this is it.

They were very professional. They gave a good timeline estimate. The rates are good. The came back the next day to fix any imperfections.
