Reviews
Write a ReviewFlavian was on time, worked quickly, and communicated well to establish expectations.
They were extremely fast and courteous. Very easy to work with and explained everything up front before doing any work.
Outstanding customer service. Budget friendly and prompt/thorough service and communication. Highly recommend!!
I cannot recommend New Pipe and the owner Flavian highly enough. I would give them ten stars if I could. We recently completed an ADU in our basement, and shortly after completion, had a backup in the drain in the basement apartment. We have old cast iron pipes original to the home (1955) that had severe scale/buildup, which was causing soft blockages and water backups. I got quotes from three different companies to install a two way sewer cleanout now required by code and to descale the pipes. New Pipe came in the lowest ($2000 below one and $600 below the other) while also being the most kind, thoughtful, thorough, responsive, and with the best equipment/technology. The other companies were also really trying to push us to get a new liner for the clay pipe that runs under the yard and connects to the city main. New Pipe/Flavian told us that, with proper maintenance, we can get another 15 - 20 years out of that pipe, even though he would obviously earn more if we did a liner or a new pipe. When it came time to actually do the descaling, he was so careful and thorough (which was especially since the pipes are old). He found a few hairline cracks in the cast iron piping, but, because he was careful and methodical and worked in steps, he was able to descale without making the cracks bigger. Now he is working to give us multiple options for how to maintain the pipes to get a few more years out of them as well as options for replacement if we decide to replace them sooner rather than later. He is incredibly honest, does not pressure clients in any way, gives lots of choices/options, and still comes in lower than anyone else. And, once you are an established client, his prices are really reasonable to come back once a year (or as often as needed) to do a video inspection and any needed maintenance. We have had some very bad experiences with plumbers in the past who have really pressured us and taken advantage of us. I will exclusively use New Pipe in the future and am recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors (all the houses in our neighborhood were built around the same time and likely have similar issues with the cast iron pipes.). Do yourself and favor and call Flavian. You will be so glad you did.
