NK Renovations is an exceptional company. They exceeded my expectations in terms of design innovation, style, and quality. I liked the work they did on my master bath and master bedroom so much, I expanded the work scope to include 2 other bathroom upgrades. Quality is unbelievable and the tile work is world-class. Best of all, the job was competently priced (actually better than others by a significant amount) with clear billing transparency and work scope tracking. Thank you to Nick and Kim for a wonderful result my wife and I will enjoy for many years to come!

Extremely disappointed with the experience with Nick. The subcontractors did great work, but Nick added little value and became difficult to work with. We had agreed his compensation would consist of reasonable markups on the subcontractors labor. It was my error in not asking more specific questions, but I trusted him. I discovered well into the project he was not only SIGNIFICANTLY marking up the labor (in one case 2 1/2 times what the subcontractor billed) but he was also significantly marking up the material costs (which was NOT or agreement) I caught him in a lie about the cost of the cabinet glass, as I dug deeper I discovered this was the case with other material costs. I was able to verify the under cabinet lighting cost $48 online (he billed me $354.89). I asked him to provide receipts for the other materials, he refused. After the discoverv of lie he hecame verv difficult to work with. We finally agreed I would finish the job directly with the subcontractors , as the relationship at this point was very strained. I would NOT recommend hiring NK Renovations for any job.

Jennifer 1. Had you terminated our services the job would have been terminated. We have signed final contracts with your signature signed by you stating the job was complete when it was completed. 2. Your main issue was that our subcontractors are not for personal hire and when Nick refused to give you their personal contact information you became difficult with Nick and our team. 3. You purchased All supplies using our contractors discounts. Majority of contractors will mark up the materials costs whereas we offer all of our discounts. 4. The glass that you mentioned, as Nick explained to you was an error by Keller Glass not including our contractors discount from the initial payment. This was an error that was corrected before the final payment. 5. The electrical lighting in your kitchen consisted of LED upper ceiling cabinet recess can lights and 12 wall under cabinet LED lights. The Charge of $354.89 also consisted of LED Drivers, LED Lights, and extra electrical lines for extensions. We used a total of 10 LED Drivers for your kitchen, kitchenette, and bar area. LED Drivers cost almost as much as the lights and the LED lights that were installed were not the roll of cheap adhesive strip lights for $48. We designed, fabricated, and built your designer custom kitchen, kitchenette, and bar area with solid White Maple Cabinet Grade wood for just over 36K. We began your project within 1 week after your signature and 1st payment on the contract and completed the cabinetry within 2 working weeks Total project including demo, paint, countertops, tile, plumbing, electrical, and glass installation took an additional 3-4 days. The closest competitor using Birch came in at 54K and they could not start until 4 months after the 1st payment. We are sorry you felt the need to give us such a low rating after getting a better quality kitchen within a shorter time frame while paying a fraction of the price. We pride ourselves on customer service and not taking advantage of people. Had you asked us to supply you with receipts we would have reviewed them with you, We do not profit on materials. Great contractor. He is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. Would recommend and we will be hiring again for our bathroom Reno. He did our kitchen backsplash and countertops. He has helped us with many other projects as will. If you use Nick you will not be disappointed and he is very reasonably priced as well.

We hired Nick to renovate our kitchen. He was very knowledgeable and gave us an awesome price. Since the Reno we have used him for many other miscellaneous Projects and he has also given us lots of advice. He is a contractor that you can trust, we have many more projects to complete and we will hire him again and again. Call him for just about anything if he can’t help you he will find you someone who can.
