Many reworks were necessary before the job was correct. Poor plumbing, cabinets did not fit, several floor tiles had to be removed and re-set, transition trim between tile and carpet had to be completely removed and reinstalled and I had to show the "specialist" how to do it. Vanity tops were not installed correctly and had to be redone twice-the "specialist" insisted on using the incorrect galking material. The project supervisor was seldom available and I had to go over his head to get responses to quality issues. There is stil evidence of use of inferior materials, The project was several months late. I will not use HD Services again.

The job was not completely finished with the wall needing repair. Tile work was ok, but didn't flush against the wall perfectly.

Worst experience I have ever had. Not only was the project delayed three months from when they were going to start, it was supposed to last only 42 business days. they began construction in April and completed the project in September. It took me three months to gut and remodel my kitchen while I was working full time at my job, but these "professionals" 6 months to put in a bathroom and laundry room in an already gutted basement. the construction crews changed over three times in this project. and with every changes I had to watch them to make sure they were not making mistakes, project manager would never communicate or update me

The sales rep promised the moon but didn't deliver, stated the project manager would handle all problems and will establish communications. After calling and sending numerous of emails, they NEVER responded, had better luck with the workers instead. Reasons for selecting HD was due to past experiences with contractors, didn't want to hold anyone's hand throughout the project, they failed to deliver on this promise. I later found problems with the quality of their work, craftsmanship and products, this was not a good experience. Lessons learned is no contractor can be trusted, not even Home Depot. BEWARE of the too good to be true sales pitch.

I signed a contract with them on Feb 20 to remodel both baths to be completed beteem Maty15-June 15 after being shown all the fixtures and approved have . They have finished one of them except for getting the tub drain to match fixtures after several substitues on July 24. They are waiting to get the window for the master bath to start it. But we were told they had every thing for it before may1. If I thought I could get out of contract without retaltation I would.

The first person sent out to handle the on-site job was disappointing, but after he was "released", the next person was excellent. We were kept inform previous to the tech coming to the job, and the appointment was on time. The only problem was the job performance of the first tech sent out. Very unprofessional, lazy. But, overall, Home Depot did a good job.

Job still not complete (11 days past 'promised date') and haven't seen or heard from anyone for weeks.

Great installers - did quality work, were courteous and very professional. The project management, on the other hand, stunk. Phone calls were not returned, improper items were ordered and there were several problems that would not have occurred with decent oversight. That said, both projects look great and in the end they finished in a reasonable amount of time.

The job itself was four-star, not perfect, but done pretty well. The salesman who came out to sell me the job, however, lied on a number of things, basically cornered me into buying what he wanted to sell me, which was not what I'd wanted. Having not been able to get any other estimates before I saw him, I was unable to compare prices. Out of the job, only ONE thing was done that I really wanted and that was having the leak fixed. Everything I'd wanted, he made it sound so prohibitively expensive that I had to abandon those plans. Even then, it was still 2K more than I had thought I'd pay. Still, it looks nice now, and the leak is gone.

    Response from Company:

"We spoke with the homeowner on Friday, May 2 after reading this posting. The homeowner reassured us she loves her new bathroom and has no issues with the project. She was surprised to hear that her daughter had posted these comments but made sure we knew she had a positive experience."
