Murdock Enterprises - Unlicensed Contractor

My husband is the one who hired him/dealt with him, but these are my observations. The work needed was to patch a ceiling that had had a tree come through. He arrived 2- 3 hours after the agreed upon time He used our tarp, our broom, asked for a sponge, and used my dog grooming dryer. He washed his tools in the bathroom sink, so I hope we don't get a big glob of taping mud stuck in there. He used my antique dresser as his work bench. He left drywall/taping mud footprints on my hall carpets. He did a ridiculously bad job on the drywall patch.. it wasn't even close to lining up. When my husband pointed out the 1/2 inch gap, he agreed to come back the next day. He's still here, using my high velocity dryer to try to dry the thick layer of spackle he put to try to disguise the terrible job he did. And he tried to jack up the price. Would not recommend.

Excellent service. Listened to what I wanted and proceeded to finish my job doing drapes. Making sure it was done exactly the way i wanted. Im very picky, so he fixed things if it wasn't perfect the first time. Drapes look great!

He's a great resource, very knowledgeable and advice (putting a rug under my lazy boy to protect wood floors) was timely and most appreciated. Work space was left clean - he even swiffered and took packaging to the trash.

Andrew is very knowledgeable in a lot of different areas so he helped me so much with 3 or 4 projects and heâ s coming back again in a couple of weeks to do additional projects. I am very pleased with Andrew and would gladly refer him!
