Monty's Home Repair Service

Monty and his helper replaced a leaking kitchen faucet and replace a faulty hot-water valve under the sink. He responded quickly to our initial quote request. I selected a high-quality American Standard faucet beforehand to help make installation smooth, but Monty impressed us by being able to quietly cut pipe, fit the new valve, and change out the faucet all while we were conducting professional Web-Ex and Zoom meetings from home during COVID. The price was quite reasonable and when we asked if we could use him for our future plumbing needs, he was enthusiastic and personable. We chatted with him to understand his experience level and familiarity with different materials. We are glad to have found an excellent plumber. My only suggestion is that he maybe upgrade his cell phone carrier/coverage since it seemed a bit spotty and got in the way of his ability to communicate initially.

Quick response, knowledgeable, and professional with a good personality. We had waited four days for one of the largest plumbing companies who came and refused to look for the problem(s) and left. Monty even apologized for that company treating us like that. He immediately identified several problems and went to work - and continued working until they were completed.

I've dealt with a few people off HomeAdvisor in Colorado Springs. Montys was by far the most professional and knowledgeable. My family has been in the construction business for over 100 years now. The only reason I didn't do the work myself is because of time and an injury. I gave each company who bid the job the option to do it the cheap and quick way. Monty is the only one who didn't take the bait and refused to do the job wrong. He was a smidgen on the high side price wise. Then I realized how much lumber was going for. He was 100% fair on price for the quality of work. Monty will be the only person I call from now on to do maintenance on my Home and Airbnb Unit.

Honest

The shower hadn't been used for eight years, because of the leakage into the closet. I had several people look at it and several different reasons for the leak. Monty came in an immediately saw the problem and fixed it.

Monty did a great job and was reasonably priced.
