    This guy told me he would charge $30 for the trip charge and to diagnose my swamp cooler, the repair would be additional minutes the $30. After he arrived he discovered his ladder was too short to get on my roof, so I borrowed my neighbors ladder then held it for him. He quickly discovered the problem was the shut-off valve at the outdoor faucet. While climbing the ladder again to close up the cooler he said I just want to let you know no less than $180. Shocked, I said why. He said for climbing your roof. I could not believe it because he knew my cooler was on the roof before he came. I offered $100 which was the way too much but it was almost 100 degrees out. He became agitated and said well just do not pay me, do it yourself or get a friend, do you have a friend?. I said no I am going to pay you what you quoted. I gave him 2 twenties which he folded and put in his pocket. I then said that was 2 twenties. He said he did not have to change and just kept my money. After I borrowed my neighbors ladder it took him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. The valve cost around $7 and I screwed it on in about 2 minutes. I texted him to ask for a receipt because the company before him left my cooler in that state when they did the startup. He would not provide me with a receipt. He kept my change.

    We have reach out to the Home Advisor regarding this review. We have no leads linking us to this so call "customer", we asked the Home Advisor to show proof that we actually serviced this" customer ", no proof (Invoice, Receipt, Payment) was provided, just the assumption that we did. We believe that Home Advisor violated its owns Reviews guidelines that state that "Proof of Service needs to be provided" in this case a receipt that state that indeed we provide services.This is no more than a FAKE review from this so call 'customer' to Mobil1 Hvac Services, on the other hand... we will be surprised if Home Advisor let us post this.

    Of course my swamp Cole stopped working when the temp outside was 95dgrees. I called the next day and was able to get same day service. German explained everything so well and fixed my unit fast. The cost was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

    We, too, were thrilled with the quick and courteous response from German. Of course, the A/C broke down on one of the hottest days of the summer, and German came right over, identified the problem, and replaced the part; having the unit up and running within 30 minutes of his arrival. Highly recommend him.
