Reviews
Write a ReviewThis company provided the most friendly efficient professional and personable service! I would for sure recommend them to everyone.
My foundation issues were not extreme, but I had other foundation quotes wanting to do more than what was really needed for my lift. Kyle zoomed in on where the corrections needed to be made and provided me a realistic estimate that did not involve extreme costs. Customer service was responsive and reached out to me regularly about any adjustments or changes to our arranged plans. This was helpful as no one in the working crew spoke english. There was a lot of rock to drill through and this prolonged the project a bit. The final engineer inspection had been conducted before the working crew had returned to begin filling the holes. I was being asked to make the final payment because the inspection passed, but I had no real assurance of the working crew returning and completing the job. I requested to make the final payment after the crew returned and filled the holes, which they accommodated my request and all work was completed to my satisfaction.
Horrible, Edward and Melissa came out inspected the foundation and mentioned that three posts needed to be encased with steel shim at the back of the home. install an access door, installed a grate box toward the back of the house so the water runs from the foundation. Shim foundation as needed. When the worker came out to do the work it was noted that the beam in the back was collapsed. This was mentioned to Edward when he came out to look at the job. The first part of the job was $4500. 00 and now we were going to need 6 posts and additional beams, shimming and permits, with an engineers letter. Paid up front before the job was started. The job had to be paid in full before starting any work. What was quoted at the beginning was to resolve the issue with the house shifting to the back. The floor in the middle of the house is bowed, still unleveled. When I brought it to there attention before paying the remaining, $2500.00 Edward and Melissa were quick to threaten me with placing a mechanical lien on my property. Not a good way to conduct busy. Edward is a pushy guy, disrespectful, with no class. Mentions he buddies with the City of San Antonio Inspectors and actually is on the board for the Building Code. This he uses to intimidate people. Stay away form MitchCo Foundation, there horrible.
They quoted me for an engineer's inspection and then determined I didn't need one, so they REFUNDED me $940.00! I'm very happy with my choice of foundation experts and will recommend them to everyone who asks.
Great experience, professional and polite.
Excellent service, I was very happy with the result.

I am an 81year old disabled veteran,on March 11 2020 Ed Mitchell send an inexperienced crew to work on the house foundation to raise foundation,in the process they tore up the patio foundation,it was left in terrible condition.Ed has not had the decency to come in person, all he says on the phone is we do not tile work,he has lied and told the bbb that I wanted Sheetrock work done, I have not asked for Sheetrock work, all I am asking is come and complete the job,why he refuses to come look at it is cause he knows the job was very unprofessional. I have been diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrigâ s disease, I am unable to pick up heavy materials. All I am asking is come complete the job.
As per the BBB response this case is closed and MitchCo completed the Foundation work many years ago. MitchCo has performed multiple services for Mr. Armando Salazar over many years and we have appreciated our client and friend to a point that we often times give in to his request for MitchCo to go above and beyond in the services contracted. Prior to Mr. Salazar being diagnosed with his medical condition as he refers to in his complaint; the situation at hand was already a problem considering MitchCo performed the Warranty work as expected, then Mr. Salazar wanted the floor covering to be replaced as well as some painting and sheetrock repair. MitchCo denied the request since Mr. Salazar did not want to pay any additional funds. Mr. Salazar contacted the municipality in which he resides in and had a code compliance officer called MitchCo on two separate occasions, requesting the municipality to demand MitchCo to fulfill services that he felt were incomplete. The outcome was determined it was two separate issues and were not related to the Warranty or the responsibility of MitchCo to do such services for free. MitchCo even went one more time above and beyond and had requested Mr. Salazar provide the tile to be replaced and MitchCo would do the installation for the tile only for free. There was a date set and on the date of work scheduled. Mr. Salazar cancelled saying that he did not get the tile and that was the last we had heard of it. Now, here we are dealing with a complaint for services not being rendered per Warranty and this is entirely untrue. The Warranty stipulates exactly no floor covering of any type will be replaced, nor cracks in the painting or sheetrock to be replaced under the Warranty. MitchCo offered a price of $500 to go locate the tile that is not easy to acquire, as well as do the cracks and sheetrock repair requested by Mr. Salazar. Mr. Salazar now feels that this work should be completed for free. We would appreciate if the complaint can be removed and not jeopardize or count against us. MitchCo honors all warranties with integrity and honor for each client and ourselves. We have offered this Solution in the past; and Mr Salazar continues to write bad reviews on all social sites he can: MitchCo will go above and beyond again for our friend and client if Mr. Salazar can locate and purchase the tile. Once the tile has been located and purchased, MitchCo will schedule to install the tile and repair the one crack in the ceiling for $400.00. This was not ever contracted and is not part of the Foundation Repair work we completed to underpin their home. Thank you, MitchCo Foundation Repair
My experience with this company started with Kyle. While he is young, he demonstrated a knowledge of foundation repair and a professionalism beyond his years. Jesus was the foreman for the job. He is fantastic with a customer. He and his team were extremely hard-working, professional, and very mindful of what I wanted the final to look like after they finished their arduous work of digging and putting in the posts. While nobody likes to spend money on things they can t see, I am extremely grateful for the job that this company and its professionals did. I would highly recommend them. The price was comparable to other companies, but their work most likely surpassed the others.

We just had the work completed a few hours ago, so far, so good. I was very impressed with the crew that did the work. They were very professional & respectful. They were focused on their job and got it done in good time. They left the work area clean & free of debris. The engineer & plumber were also very efficient & professional. MitchCo has a great team!
