Reviews
Write a ReviewSo friendly! When the workers did not complete as requested, the owner had them come back and do ot again.
Clint is a great salesman and very friendly but i would not recommend him and his team for any type of repair. We had a long list of projects - about 25 of varying sizes. Clint initially quoted 65 hours. After 2 weeks, 2 of the projects were done plus several other projects we did not request. I was presented with a bill for 24 hours of work. Also at this time, I was alerted that the front door was damaged beyond repair while replacing the locks (it is going to cost me several thousand dollars to replace our front entrance). Clint also alerted me that he had spilled a can of paint in our garage and driveway - something he told me his team would clean up but there is now a permanent stain in our garage. We had also sourced 8 closet doors through Clint which he left out in the rain and ruined. I questioned Clint on the initial invoice since only 2 small projects had been completed. I was told of all the other projects that had been completed that were not on our list. I showed clint the list of projects he had put together that did not include these additional projects, and he told me my wife had told him to do them (they spoke 1 time, very briefly, this was untrue) Ultimately, we decided it was best to settle up for the work done and go our separate ways. In the end, I was charged for 68 hours and had only a handful of projects completed. I told Clint that I wanted to have someone assess the damage his team had done to my front door before settling the bill, but he threatened to put a lean against our new house if I did not pay him by the following business day. I paid more to clint to have a small portion of our projects completed than I was initially quoted, I have a permanently damaged front door and garage, and I was threatened legal action when I tried to validate the damages. I have had painters, locksmiths and another handyman all come do work in the few weeks since I fired Clint and every one of them has shown me something new that Clints team did wrong and will need to be re-done. My second handyman completed more of the tasks on our list and fixed a few of the items Clints team messed up and charged me 10% of what clint charged me!
One can't serve 2 masters--you obviously didn't understand what the wife wanted before telling me what you wanted and then to save face with her blamed me--never could understand why I couldn't speak with her for clarification. This happened during waverly flooding and weather came in unexpected, replaced door at my cost, cleanup not charged to you from my mistake in garage. Tell the truth factually and let the Lord love you. We brought front door damage to your attention, the blind could see it was an old substandard repair, We were also working you into our schedule as we could put men there since you were an "emergency" which you were made fully aware of. When you tell someone to do something and you change your mind and want it the way it was that is 2 jobs to charge for not 1. You didn't want to pay the contract price because you said there would be a few changes you were sure so didn't want change orders...
Great communication from Clint, hugely helpful in this process. I will say that they did cause a small amount of wall damage but they also were highly apologetic and fixed it on their own time.
We were very pleased with Clint’s service. Communication was great throughout the entire process. Job was done on-time and exactly as expected. We are very happy with our new dishwasher and the extra work completed to solve our problem. (Old dishwasher was stuck). Highly recommend Mid TN Trades.
Thank you.
Very good follow up and communication.
Great customers, weather messed up schedule but in the end, I believe we left Miss. Linda and Mr. Jim satisfied.
Well run, professionally handled project in dealing with damaged aggregate driveway. Clint is extremely efficient in scheduling and following up through completion. Gabriel and team were great at the hands-on portion of the project. I would most definitely hire them again for my next project!
Miss. Jan is the kind of customer that contractors love to work for. Would love to do more work for her and her husband John.
Clint and Gabriel did a great job on dealing with some challenges during the project. I'd hire them again.
Jody and Beth were really great to work with, even with a couple of challenges they remained gracious and understanding---even knowing what I know now, I'd do it all over again...
Installed fence and gates, replaced much rotten wood on home, rebuilt part of deck, built new stairs .....Good price, great work, included extra work outside of scope for free, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, exceeded expectations in every way.
Great folks to work with!!!
Loved their work. Driveway, laundry cupboards and garage shelving and organization were top notch. Mr. Burgess listened to customer concerns and responded accordingly even offering suggestions for better organization. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of all three jobs!!!
Miss. Sue was quite the pleasure as a customer.
The original contract was for pressure washing and sealing of a damaged aggregate drive way. I was so impressed with the information conveyed and completed project that I next inquired about cupboard installation for my laundry room and shelving for the garage. I have been very pleased with the creativity in planning and the quality of the workmanship. I would highly recommend this group and utilize them personally for any future home improvement projects.
