McCareys Renovation and Repair LLC

The company was asked to relocate an existing awning. Mrs. McCarey came out to quote the price of the project. All they had to do was to move the awning approx. sixteen feet. They miss measured while doing the job which caused them to miss sinking the lag bolts of the anchor of the awning to the roof joist. They were about eight to ten inches off and only connected to the plywood of the roof. After describing and showing the crew the mistakes they made, I was promised the job would be completed the third day. The crew returned the third day and only after a couple of hours one of the crew members walked off the job. After letting me know about the argument and what happened, the McCarey crew left for the day. Mrs. McCarey offered me 1 $100.00 dollar bill. I refused it. I only wanted my job completed as promised. I attempted to contact the crew for two days and got no response. I had to go back through Angie's to try to get the McCarey crew to reach back to me. After several attempts by Angie's to contact the company to contact me, I was told by Angie's to get another company. They left the job site with the awning still not being moved to the proper place and not connected to the roof joist, only holding by the plywood which had no stability. I had missing bolts, nuts and screws. After talking to Angie's again I was told there were no other companies in my area to complete the job I had requested. I went through Handyman and my job was completed in 5 hours, bolts, nuts, and screws were replaced. I would not recommend this company or Angie's for anything or to anybody. I will be contacting B.B.B.

Marie is great to work with! The communication is great! They called me the same day I reached out and came that day for an estimate. They came the next day to do the project and did what they said they would do. The price was also reasonable for the work. I recommend McCareyâ s for home repairs!

The McCareys were a great. They came out the same day and gave us a reasonable estimate and came back the next day and finished the job. They also look over the entirety of the roof and gave a detailed evaluation of the state of our roof without any pressure to do further repairs at this time. We highly recommend this company and plan to use them in the future

I would not recommend them to anyone. All the work they did needed to be redone. The roof that they put on my deck is leaking. They didn't replace the parts. The roofing was not put on correctly. There's no overhang on the roof. Everything is wrong.

These ladies were awesome! Marie treated me very respectfully. She was excellent with communicating times and outlining what would be done. They showed up on time and did a very thorough job. I most highly recommend them and will be using them again.

Absolutely love them! They did amazing, did work in a timely manner, and it turned out beautifully. I absolutely love that they're so family orientated! Will be having them back for any work I need!!
