Marshall Grain Co.

After the Feb 2021 freeze and multiple dead shrubs, I decided to go with xeriscape this time. Marshall Grain was the only company that responded to my calls and I am not disappointed. Nancy is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and on time. The staff that came to do the work? You could not ask for a better group of guys. Although we are still short a couple of plants everything is spaced out well so no large gaps. They improved the aesthetics by running downspouts underground to a pop-up drain. Certainly not the cheapest landscape company I am sure but, you get what you pay for and for me, it is well worth the money.

Mr. Connelley was very professional and knowledgeable. The job was done in one day. The new sod is beautiful. I would highly recommend Marshall Grain.

Overall the landscaping and masonry looks great although we are still missing 5 shrubs due to backorders. Since the shrubs are so small, it's hard to get the full vision of the design at this point. Workers were efficient and cleaned up well at the end of each day. We will consider Marshall Grain for future landscape projects.

Great landscape design team and work here. I xeriscaped my entire backyard and couldn’t be happier with the design, plant selection and new patio area. I will definitely rehire them when I’m ready to do the front yard to match. Thanks for a beautiful yard!

Nancy the landscape designer came to our property and assessed what we were looking for. She came up with a much better idea and created a beautiful living wall with different types of trees and shrubs. She is very knowledgeable about different types of trees and schrubs. The install crew was very friendly and efficient and started right away. I would recommend Marshall Grain, they do nice work.

Nancy Brockmeyer, the landscape artist I worked with on my backyard renovation was easy to work with and knowledgeable about native plants, blooming times, etc. She asked me what my budget was before beginning her estimate, which was broken down by each item. The proposed layout diagram was very professional. She offered me a lower-cost option on some of the gravel that helped me keep the cost within a reasonable budget. She checked in on the progress of my ongoing project and communicated with the crew chief, Jesus, regularly. Jesus and his crew were outstanding workers and kept the worksite neat when they left for the day. It was a major renovation project, including a retaining wall, trees & native plants, gravel, and sod. My backyard area around the pool is gorgeous now, and will get more gorgeous as the plants mature. The added value to my home is worth the price of the project and would be a major selling point if I ever decided to sell. I would recommend Marshall Grain and Nancy Brockmeyer to anyone wanting landscaping done.

Great communication, flexible, listened to what we needed done on our project and provided solutions that met the project and adapted their solutions to some of our ideas / recommendations very easily. Highly recommended.
