Initially, the basement remodel looked good. However, the ceiling was closed and an air duct in the ceiling was not wrapped. About 10 months after the work was done, condensation from the air duct caused moisture damage to the ceiling. While the work was being done, I noticed the condensation on the duct and pointed it out to Mario. He stated that it was not a problem and the condensation was only there because the walkout basement door was open. He did not wrap the air duct. When the ceiling damage appeared, I was advised that the air duct should have been wrapped prior to closing the ceiling. I contacted Mario the owner who stated that he had not encountered such a problem before and before repairing the ceiling recommended that I have my hvac evaluated. I did so and there was not any major issue with my hvac system other than needing a tune up. There was no leak or other major issue. I provided the invoice for the hvac evaluation as requested. I also sought opinions from 3 different contractors and 2 hvac specialists and they all stated that wrapping air ducts is recommended when finishing basements. Obviously, I am not a professional but I trusted MG enterprise to know how to do the job correctly. It was very disappointing that the owner implied that he would repair the damage for free after providing the hvac invoice. I got no response after providing the hvac invoice and when I did reach out to see when the repair would be done, he stated that there would be a charge for the repair. I decided to go with another contractor for repairs because of lack of honestly and I doubt the job would be done correctly. He should have stated in the beginning that he would charge to repair the damage that resulted from the original poor quality work that was done.

We hired MG Enterprises to do a refresh to our kitchen which included new countertops, sink, backsplash and remove the stain off the cabines and paint them. They did a wonderful job. Mario was great to work with and his employees were very considerate of our home, cleaned up any and all messes and did a great job.

Mario did a lovely job replacing kitchen countertop. Was a turnkey job and I didn't have to worry about anything. Thank you Mario

We had Mario remove a load-bearing 22-foot wall and install two 20 LVL beams for an inverted/upstand beam. He and his crew were very professional, did quality work, and cleaned up at the end of the day. They did a great job.

I needed to hire a handyman in KC ( I live in St. Louis) to help address an inspection list of items that needed to be repaired before her house could be sold. Mario responded to our request promptly, provided an initial visit (at no cost) to assess the items and then proceeded to return a few days later to address the list. My Mom (87 yrs young) was very impressed with every aspect of his services. This included kitchen cabinet repairs, faucet replacement, multiple toilet repairs and other minor fixes. All the while, Mario would contact me to provide updates every step of the way. Needless to say, I would highly recommended Mario, as his customer service, attention to details and pricing are excellent.

Mario is a Great Professional, I had been wanting to get some new toilets installed, dishwasher, faucet's, new vanity, and new kitchen and bath hardware; I had look on Home Advisor back in November to no avail; I was not in a big hurry; now fast forward, I want to get it done; I reviewed Mario's reviews, saw all the 5's and the one 0.05; I debated should I call this guy... I did, I asked about the one poor rating, he was honest about the client, I was stratified with his explanation and I asked for a meeting for a bid; I met Mario, he informed me what he could do ( and was honest on what he couldn't do) and that he would send a Bid; he did, I accepted (Great Bid!!!) Two days later, he started, Did what he said he would do, was timely, made great suggestion, and cleaned up after himself and might I add very well (I like a clean house)... The work Mario did was professional and I can't wait to have him start the next project; hopefully once he completed his next major project, he can do some more work for me. I'm going to also have Mario do some work for my Mom!!!

He got the job done. Satisfied with his service and would hire again, but a little expensive.
