M & D Construction was very professional from first contact until the end of the project. The team that replaced my roof came on time and worked non-stop until the job was done. they did a great job cleaning up after the job was done.

I strongly advise you to think twice before trusting these people with your money. They are highly unprofessional and unethical. In April 2023, I signed a contract with this company to renovate my house, including expanding two bedrooms on the second floor. When I asked them how long it would take, they lied and said 3 to 4 months. However, it's been almost a year, and my property is nowhere near ready. I was clear with them from the beginning that I needed constant communication about the progress of the renovations since I live in Boston and couldn't be present throughout the process. I also made it clear that it was crucial for me to have the renovation completed within the four months given that I was pregnant and planned to move with my family to NC. They assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and that they would do as I requested. I paid them 95% of the cost upfront, but they ignored my calls and messages and lied when I called the office to request updates on my project. They kept giving me false promises, telling me it would be done the next month or the month after that. The way they treated me was extremely unprofessional and unfair. They didn't respect my limited time, didn't empathize with me, and didn't treat me with the respect that a customer deserves. To trust them, I informed my landlord in Boston that I was moving out at the end of last month because the company informed me that my house would be ready on September 13th, which was a lie. I had to leave my apartment, and this resulted in additional expenses and a lot of stress, particularly since I have a newborn baby and no house to live in. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. This company and its staff have caused me a great deal of trouble, and I have documented everything for legal purposes since they breached our contract. If you choose to work with this company, I strongly recommend you involve an attorney to avoid any headaches.

Itâ s been 2 months since the folks at M&D Construction replaced 17 windows and 2 doors at my home. We were very pleased with the experience. The house is quieter, warmer and cooler, with a lower electric bill, and has withstood torrential rain and wind with no leaks. Also, it looks great. Starting the project, I received 5 other estimates for window companies and other contractors, and found that they were very non-specific about what products they would install. They also told me it would take at least 4 weeks to get the windows. Who would buy something without knowing what it was and exactly what it looked like? The other companies couldnâ t tell me a brand or point me to an online data sheet for R values. The other companies were also, at a minimum, THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS HIGHER than M&D Construction (the highest company was 6k over). Nice. M&D was ready in 2 weeks, but willing to wait for me to get things straightened up and move things around. We have animals and I asked that the staff be mindful of that while working. They were. M&D completed the job in 2 days (including cleanup). Needless to say, but M&D has become my go-to for construction and any home improvement projects. Ruben and his team have my full confidence.

They gave us a very fair price. The work was completed in one day. The workers were very polite. It was a very hot humid day. No one complaint, they laughed a lot, I told them I needed to learn Spanish, so I could understand their jokes! They cleaned everything up. I highly recommend M&D! In fact today I passed their phone number to my hair dresser!

The roof install was more than what I expected. They went above and beyond to keep me informed throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this company.
