Reviews
Write a ReviewWe DO NOT recommend this builder. We contracted with Luxe Development Group dba Arizona Garage Builders to build a small, simple 500 sq ft pool house in our backyard, but this project ended up being everything but simple. We get it that construction projects are nerve-wracking and that general contractors need to be monitored, but with this project we had to check and re-check the quality of their work and consult with other tradesmen to verify construction processes and materials (e.g., decking, roofing, floor tile installation, plumbing, electrical, window installation). The project began in May 2022 and did not get completed until mid-February 2023. The only reason it was completed at all is because we had to become our own general contractor and subcontract many aspects of the build to finish the project ourselves (i.e., decking, plumbing, electrical). The subcontractors used by this company did not follow the engineered plans nor were some of them certified to perform the work. We were told the excavation to our property to put in water, electrical, and sewer was supposed to be a 5-day process but took over 2 months, leaving us without use of our driveway and garages. Installing the ceramic tile floor was going on for 2 months and we had to hire another contractor to finish the work. The tankless water heater and kitchen sink leaked, and their subcontracted plumber could not fix it, so we hired a plumber to come and fix. The windows were installed one foot higher than called for by engineered plans and are consequently non-usable unless you are over 6 feet tall or have the aid of a stepladder. The subcontractors hired by the builder had to be monitored every step along the way and took a toll on us emotionally and financially.
Lies, Lies and more lies.. This lady paused her own project because she does Airbnb. And she does it illegally. Her project was paused because she did not want to disturb her clients in her busy season. When we finally resumed her project after a 6 month pause (while we lost money waiting for her to resume) She then starts ranting about her project delays. We really wish there was a complaint process for rude, irate and nasty clients like Jill She would take the lead for sure. We have hundreds of pictures of our amazing work. She also called the ROC on us with over 60 complaints of our shoddy work LOL.. All of which were dismissed by the ROC and they even commented on this person on how demented she is. If anyone who reads this and has any hesitancy in hiring us... Just ask us for the proof which we will happily provide the complaint and dismissal of her baseless claims. All of her claims and rants are baseless. She is illegally renting what we built for her and tried to circumvent the city my naming her casita a pool house. Which we now are obligated to turn into the city of Phoenix. We build over 60 projects per year and have a 2% complaint rate. And in this industry that is an amazing record. Most folks complain only trying to get things for free.. Which this lady was a queen of. She is correct on one thing. The window was framed in wrong. We offered to correct and she denied.. We have a list of over over 200 communication emails with this crazy lady to prove her false allegations. She is pissed because the ROC denied everything she complained about. She has certificate or occupancy. You CANNOT get this with shoddy work!
Jeff was wonderful to work with and so was his crew. If I had a question/issue he was always prompt to resolve it. They did a great job and I am very pleased with there work. I am planning on using them for future projects and have highly recommend them to my family and friends.
Made a plan and stuck to it, but allowed me to make changes as the garage took shape, that flexibility was important. I liked the respectful subcontractors, cleaned up after themselves. I have a great garage now, matches the house perfectly and everything works!
These guys were great. Project plan was put together and executed on time and on budget. Always available to answer questions unlike other contractors I have experienced. I would highly recommend Arizona Garage builders for your home project!
Josh was very easy to deal with and always communicated with us when making changes. Our garage was built in a very timely manor and all work done was very professional. We are very pleased with our new garage.
worked w/Josh Felt. Very professional. all questions answered.
Great price.
Jeff and Brandon was awsome to work with. They were very professional. When I had questions they always got back with me in a timely manner. I immediately gained trust and respect for them from the time I hired them until the job was completed. They made sure I was satisfied with every step of the construction process. I am very satisfied and will be using them again in the future.
